Maureen POV

We currently have  two suspects, one male and one female who are unrelated, in separate rooms on the first floor in the detention building. The detention building is a four level steel building toward the back of the pack estate. It has two levels above ground, which are used for basic prisoner holding and interrogations,  and two levels below ground, which are for the more interesting, in-depth, severe cases. The building has windows placed strategically throughout the building yet not many for safety purposes. We installed other safety features throughout and around it in case a suspect escaped custody. It is a building I hope Wyatt never has to enter.

We've had our best interrogators dealing with the two suspects for about 8hrs now. When I first arrived with Jax, Garret handed me a file regarding each suspect.

BASIC INFORMATION:

FILE ONE: Maxine Jones, 20yrs old, 5'7", blond hair, blue eyes, wolf color: light brown, time in our pack: 1 1/2yrs, reason for entering our pack: abused and ran from previous pack from a different state/ unconfirmed/ unable to reach, family: stated none, mated: stated no, current job in our pack: cook.

I read throughout her file looking for discipline issues, friends, etc.

FILE TWO: Richard Anthony, 18yrs old, 6'0", dark brown hair, blue eyes, wolf color: dark brown, time in our pack: 3yrs, reason for joining our pack: old pack/family did not accept his mate who is an omega so they left, family: mate Allison here in our pack/ previous family still at old pack as far as he knows, current job in our pack: warrior

I watch Richard's interrogation and  he shows signs of exhaustion. If he participated with Alpha Toby it does not appear to have been willingly. Yet, we will see. Time and further investigation will continue to confirm. Right now, I believe it will be best to concentrate on Maxine.

My interrogators are doing an excellent job dealing with this difficult female. Being difficult in and of itself does not point to guilt. Yet, it does make one wonder. Why be difficult when the safety of the pack is concerned? Why not answer the questions and try to help? What does being difficult and stubborn accomplish for her? Unless, she really doesn't consider this her pack, me her alpha, or the safety of the pack is of no concern to her. Maxine's attitude has changed as the interrogation progressed. The longer she has been in that room the more her entire demeanor has went from the nervous "I don't know why I'm here"  to the arrogant "I don't have to answer your questions. I don't give a shit about what happens here" type.

I'm going to need to participate in the interrogation . I need answers and I'm tired of this bitch! I mind link Brian, who is leading Maxine's questioning, and instruct him to take a break and meet me in conference room 3 for a discussion.

I enter the room and Maxine is now sitting there with her feet up on the table with a smirk on her face. I can smell the arrogance rolling off her.

**This bitch better watch it- Shelia snarls

*Agree!

"Oh, so they finally gave up and sent up Alpha" while she draws out the word alpha with a taunting tone.

I smile at her, laugh, and say, "Oh, they needed a break from the stench of shit you're giving off in here so they stepped out for a bit."

She froze for a millisecond before continuing her irritation act. "This has gone on long enough. I've done nothing wrong. Let me out", she states with a huff.

"DO NOT GIVE ME ORDERS" I snarl at her using my alpha voice. She is about to realize just how powerful I am and that she can not make demands to me, ever! Maxine is trying to fight not submitting to me even is really does not consider me her alpha I am still am alpha and a powerful one at that. She finally submits, showing me her neck. She is glaring at me like she wants to rip me head off.
