"I feel free," Y/N thought to herself.
Her life has been serene since Jimin and her broke up. She's felt at peace. Her heart is content as she gazes out from her porch at the rain soaked lawn; a light drizzle still falling.
Still, sometimes she wonders how he's been. There's always some underlying guilt in the situation, but Y/N knew it was the right choice. Y/N thinks curiously about when the messages stopped coming in, but she can't remember the frame from when the annoying dings stopped humming from her black phone like a gnat flying past her ear.
"I need to get some things done," Y/N spoke to herself as she stretched out her numb limbs.
Walking in the door, she glanced around to assess what was happening. True she was doing well, but it didn't make her any less lazy. Random items scattered the floor and the kitchen had a sink full of dishes asking to be washed. Y/N didn't even want to check the laundry room; she was sure that there was a pile of clothes a mile high ready to be folded.
"One room at a time," Y/N whispered to herself, taking in a deep breath.
Y/N started out slow. She thought as she cleaned, which was a hazard within itself as she noticed she still had dumb cups and Knick-knacks Jimin had given her. They had become a part of the home just like any other random item that Y/N didn't think twice about until now.
She cleaned in silence, the only sounds were her humming and the clicking of dishes as she cleaned. The engulfing noiselessness was comforting as she went from one room to another cleaning and finally getting rid of the clutter that surrounded her.
Once Y/N was done she laid on her bed, the warmth of the black comforter enveloping her and washing away the dull ache in her back. It was nice to relax after doing real work instead of lazing around all day. She began to doze off after a while, her head lolling and breathing becoming slow and deep. Before long, Y/N was fast asleep.

It was dark by the time Y/N woke up. It felt as though she had woken up in another dimension and it made her uncomfortable. She stretched her arms and legs until she felt like her whole body would seize up before sitting up and swinging her legs over the edge of her bed. Rubbing her eyes, Y/N checked her phone and saw a text notification and a missed call from an unsaved phone number.
"Hey it Jimin. I know it's been awhile. I don't know how you feel about things but I was wondering if you'd want to get lunch or something this week since I'm in town."
She groaned and took a deep breath, "Maybe it won't be bad. It's been awhile. Friendship is possible," she tried to convince yourself.
Y/N sent a quick text back.
"I'm available anytime this week, so choose when."

Y/N and Jimin decided to get lunch the next day. Maybe you both could spend some time together throughout the week if today went well. She hoped to make up for the gap in time she created by cutting him off for so long. She also texted back and forth with him before going to bed officially last night and this morning after waking up. He seemed to be doing well, which washed away some of the guilt that rested in the back of her head. He was the same goofy person that Y/N knew all along too, and she appreciated that about him.
Before she knew it, it was time to meet him for the first time after the break-up. They decided on their favorite cafe in town to eat at; it was a homey, comfortable space. Once she got there, Y/N parked and lightly tapped her head on the steering wheel.
