Hoseok was laying his legs across your resting body as the two of you watched TV, the screen flashing images in the dark living room. Suddenly, Hoseok sat up, shoving his phone in your face.
"There's a meteor shower starting soon! Do you want to go look at the stars?" he asked giddily.
Hobi was always like this and you never complained about his spurts of spontaneous wants.
"Uh.. sure," you giggled, "but we're getting snacks.
"Babe, it's 11 at night. The stores are closed around here."
You groaned, " What an awful fate."
He grabbed your arms and the blankets that were being used on the coach, dragging you across the apartment. He opened the window and shoved you on the balcony.
"Climb!" he pushed.
"What? No?" you yelled at him.
"Just do it. We do it all the time."
"Doesn't mean I enjoy it!"Despite your protests you climbed up on the top of the building. Living on the top floor sometimes had its perks, this being one of them.
You placed yourselves towards the center of the roof, laying out the blankets and cuddling up next to each other. It was still warm out despite the sun being tucked away on the other side of the globe, so Hobi began to fuss that he was getting hot with you on him. This only made you get closer to putting your entire person on him.
"Just love meeeee," you whined.
"You're too warm you dumbass," he pushed you while laughing.
You were going back forth with each other laughing before you caught a glimpse of streaking light.
"Shooting star!" you yelled and pointed.
"Make a wish baby," he rolled over then kissed your cheek.
Closing your eyes you wished for forever with Hobi and the gleeful moments he brings to your life. It almost felt like a prayer you had spoken countless times as a child."What did you wish for?" he whispered.
"Wouldn't you like to know," you snorted.
"So mean to me. I think I'm going to cry," he sniffled fakely.
You pinched his side, "Just look up at the sky. I wouldn't want you to miss your wish."
He mumbled something before paying attention to the vast darkness littered with specks of light above you. Hoseok, stared with bright eyes, searching for the flicks of falling stars above. No one tells you about this, but waiting for them to fall is boring unless you're prepared to stay up until the peak of the shower. Both of you were yawning and ready to go back instead, but Hobi stopped and pointed.
It was beautiful. There were dozens coming down at a time. Meteors burning away as they entered our atmosphere. It only lasted a few minutes until it dwindled down to some every now and again. You wanted to watch until the sun came up and the light of day drowned out the show, but it was hard to keep awake any longer."Come on," you offered a hand to your boyfriend who was still laying down, "Lets go in."
He obliged and took your soft hand. He helped you climb down before throwing the blankets down and he descended.
"So what did you wish for?" you asked curiously.
"Wouldn't you like to know, Stink."(A/N): Just a short one I've had stashed backed for awhile, I hope you guys enjoyed ❤️
