Namjoon didn't show up to the date you had been planning for weeks; you both were suppose to be meeting up at a local restaurant, but he never showed. You constantly texted and called him, but to no avail. You went home upset and kinda of worried since it wasn't like him to not show up without a message or call.
The next morning you woke up not wanting to move or get out of bed. Later on that night you got a call, before you went to bed, from Namjoon apologizing that he got caught up in work and when he got home he passed out. He was being honest, but you were still annoyed so you didn't speak with him after and fell asleep mad.
You lazily looked at your clock and it read 10:27AM, so you got up to shower. Once you showered, you put on shorts and a comfy T-Shirt then sat on the sofa and watched random YouTube videos on your phone. From time to time, you were tempted to message him, but you let your saltiness get in the way. The weather matched your mood; it was rainy and cold, but it was also your favorite weather. It was comforting to you both ways.
About an hour or so into your YouTube frenzy, you heard your doorbell ring. You were hoping to be able to ignore it, but whoever it was kept ringing and ringing. You groaned as your pulled yourself up off the coach and walked towards the door. Who would even be at my door while it's raining like this? Was your first thought. Before you opened the door, you quickly checked to see who was at your door. You were shocked to see Namjoon standing there, soaking wet waiting patiently for you to answer.
You opened the door and quickly let him in.
"Stay here, I'm going to get you a towel," you ordered before quickly walking to the bathroom.
Once you grabbed a towel, you remember that you still some of his clothes from the nights he would stay over, so you grabbed them as well.
"You're an idiot," you bluntly stated as you held out the towel and clothes to him, "why are you even here?"
He didn't answer you as he took the clothes and towel from you. He went to the bathroom and quickly changed. When he came back out, you took the towel out of his hand and told him to sit in the stool in front of the counter. You started to make hot chocolate for both of you and turned up the heater, seeing that he was cold. As soon as it was done you set his mug in front of him and started to dry his hair. Once you finished drying his hair, you sat down beside him and asked the same question as before.
"Wy are you here, it's early afternoon and it rain-"
"I'm sorry," he whispered, "I didn't mean to not show up to the date. I know it was important and I'm sorry."
He had his head down and you could tell that he felt terrible about not showing. You took his hand and squeezed it, feeling guilty for being so mad at him before.
"It's fine... but just know you owe me food," you chucked lightly.
Namjoon smiles lightly and you felt your heart flutter. It's hard to stay mad at someone so cute and caring.
"Of course baby," he laughed as he placed his head on your shoulder.
He went to hug you, but you stopped him before he could.
"No hugs unless you pinky promise me that you won't do it again," you smirked.
He smiled and kissed you, hugging your waist. He pulled away and locked your pinky's together.
"Stamp it."
"Fine, fine," he sighed happily and stuck his thumb against yours.
"I love you."
