You had a late shift tonight, but Jin and you still made plans with each other because it's been a while since you have seen one another. You were looking forward to cuddling and movies despite being as exhausted as you were, so when you got off work you left for his apartment immediately. You got in the elevator and pressed his floor number like you had done a thousand times before. You had butterflies despite seeing him often.
Once the elevator had made it to his floor you scurried your way to the familiar door number and knocked the special knock that you two had made together. You waited a moment for him to come to the door, but when he didn't answer you knocked on the wooden door louder.
There was still no answer and you began to get worried. You looked around for a spare key, but you forgot where he told you he placed it. You huffed and leaned against the wall before sitting on the floor think. You were worried, but also mad. Why would he ask you to come over if he wasn't even home?
You stood up abruptly off the dirty tiled floor, balancing yourself on the wall. You started gathering your things when you heard a door open and a voice to the right of you.
"Oh it's you (y/n) making all the noise."
You turned toward the voice and immediately recognized that it was Jin's neighbor, Taehyung.
"Do you know when he left?" you questioned with annoyance in your voice.
"You say that like I monitor him," Tae chuckled.
"Ugh fine," you sighed and pulled your phone out to call him.
You called, but there was no answer. You called again... and again. There was still no answer and you were getting ready to leave when you heard the elevator ting. You turned around to see Jin with a grocery bag in his left hand and keys in the right.
"What the fuck Jin?"
"Shit, I thought I had time to buy us snacks before you got here," Jin frowned and rushed to you.
You rolled your eyes and offered to take the bag out of his hands. He handed you the bag and kissed your forehead before quickly unlocking the door and holding it open for you to go in.
"If it makes up for it I got your favorite candy," he spoke shyly.
You set the bag on the table, laughed and kissed his cheek. He scared you, but for a thoughtful reason; you weren't as mad now knowing that.

Once you two were settled and chose a movie to watch you draped a blanket over the two of you and cuddled close. You both happily watch the movie and simply enjoy the others company.
"Do you want to move in with me?"
"Do I what?" You asked shocked
"Want to move in with me?" He nervously chuckled.
"You're serious?"
He nodded and looked at you with wide eyes.
"I- fuck yes!"
He let out a sigh of relief and kissed you, grabbing the sides of your face. This wasn't what you expected out of tonight at all, but you were happier than ever.
