Jin always starts fights. Always insistent that he's right and never wants to admit flaws or faults. It's always dumb arguements that escalate to the worst ones. Ones where you don't talk for days and all you can do is isolate and curl up under the blankets feeling numb and alone. It was one of those weeks again and everyday it was always a ridiculous thing to fight about.
You eventually started to isolate yourself and act like he didn't even exist, avoided the times he would be home and avoided speaking or looking his way when he'd be out in the living room. Normally he would come in and apologize, but it's been over a week of ignoring each other and you were starting to worry, still you remain unmoving.
You turned off your phone and slept for long periods at a time. You were pretty sure your mom called you, but you didn't care much. Another couple days passed before Jin decided to talk to you, but it wasn't what you thought it would be.
He didn't even knock before bursting into your room, "Get dressed, we're going to see your dad."
"Why?" You asked sitting up.
"Did you not know he was in an accident? He's in the hospital, y/n."
You felt your heart drop. You scrambled to see your texts and calls. Mostly from mom and they were all about your dad.
"Fuck fuck fuck..." you get up and start putting on clean clothes and your shoes.
"Hey," he grabs your shoulders, "You need to breathe."
You tried to slow your breath but it just made you cry and shake. He noticed and quickly sat you down on the bed with him and held you, talking softly in your ear. When that didn't do a lot, he started gently swaying your two back and forth and petting your hair.
"Shhhh baby. He's alright. You're alright."
About thirty minutes and a lot of talking later, you calmed down enough to clean yourself up. When you finally came out of the bathroom, Jin was waiting and pulled you into a tight hug. He kissed your forehead and gently pecked your lips.
"You don't need to worry or cry. He's okay. He's alive and you know they want to see you."
You nod and take his hand.
"Let's go then."
