It had a been a few weeks since you had seen Jimin. You had to go on a business trip and unfortunately couldn't bring him with you. You expected when you got home to be showered with affection, but instead you weren't even greeted after getting in the door.
You always felt insecure with your relationship in the sense you felt he didn't actually love or care about you sometimes. So it wasn't a surprise when Jimin said, "I forgot that you would be back today," that you broke down into tears.
Jimin was completely still at the sight of you crying. As you sobbed he sat there confused. He didn't know what to what to do or how to even properly apologize for this.
He didn't even know what to apologize for.
He made the decision that staying completely quiet was the best option. So, instead of talking, he wiped the tears from your face. Each time he did though, you slapped his hands away from you, not wanting to be touched or consoled. He then tried to hug you and you fought against it, but Jimin didn't let go. You finally gave up and sobbed as he kept his warm arms around you until your tears ceased to fall.
"Baby, what's wrong?"
You shook your head and said nothing.
"Please tell me, I can't be sorry if I don't know what I did wrong."
You sighed and gave in, "I missed you and you didn't even remember that I was going to be back today. I feel like you don't care about me."
Jimin was at a loss for words. He felt bad that you didn't feel cared about. He didn't even know you thought like that.
"I'm sorry that you feel like that, but baby I promise I care about you."
You nod not wanting to talk after crying so much. You didn't disregard what he said though. You kept the words there for when you felt the same way again.
