You stared blankly at the last text you received from him. Your lips quivered as you wrapped your arms around your waist and curled up in a ball on your bed. Your breathing was uneven and your eyes were producing hot tears. You were holding back loud sobs, afraid of someone hearing you. Closing your eyes, you prayed to whatever was out there that this was all a bad dream; unfortunately you knew that it wasn't and the text will continue to eat away at your mental being. You're normally the person to express your feelings well; however, when you were hurt, you'd hide your feelings and shut yourself out from everyone. Everyone in your life was irritated when you got like that, especially Joon. When you were at the point of hurt and empty you kept in everything and agreed with whatever he would say. He wanted you to open up more, but you never could.
You exhaled I'm frustrating as you heard your phone buzzing. Probably texts from your friends that you plan on never responding to. You squeezed your sides and your eyes shut but quickly changed your position when you heard a light knocking at your door.
"Love, are you okay?" You heard your friend call out.
"Uh yeah. Do you need something?"
"Well Jimin just messaged me asking me to go out with him cause he needed to talk. Did something happen with you two?"
"I don't know. Talk to him," you spoke bitterly.
"Oh... well... I guess we'll talk when I'm back."
As soon as the door closed you felt hot tears stream down your face. You heard (Y/F/N) sigh as they walked away. Once you knew they had left you quickly started packing your things. You, Jimin, and your friend all shared an apartment, but you decided now would be the best time to leave. Once all of your things were together, you left promptly and drove to the bus station, where you bought a ticket to the town where your parents were. You looked at your phone one last time before you stepped on the bus. Jimin's message was still there, this was not a dream.
I think it's in our best interest to split. We're not right for each other and I've lost feelings for you.. I think you should just leave. I'm sorry. ~Jimin
