Tae is always the kind that laughs even when in pain or mourning, and you envied that. You always seemed to have all the bad luck and situations happen to you, while Tae was sitting on a mound of good luck and fortune.Within the past week nothing bad had happened and everything in your life- and his- was going exceptionally well. Too well actually, you knew in the back of your head that something bad was going to happen.
It was Tuesday of the next week and you were still waiting for the bad thing to come along. It finally did Tuesday night in the form of a phone call from your grandma. She told you that your grandpa has passed away.
Not only was this bad, it was soul crushing. Your grandpa was the only person in your life, before you moved away, who supported you endlessly.

When Tae got home, he noticed you on the couch, your body covered with a large blanket, hair disheveled and your face blotchy with tears. He hugged you and kissed your head. He hated seeing you cry. You hated seeing him unaffected.
"Why aren't you crying too you monster," you croaked out.
"No, please stop crying." Tae said holding your shoulders. When your sobs continue to come, he pulled you into a hug.
"I'm sorry baby," He'd kept saying while still hugging you.
When the hug wouldn't work, he tried to make you laugh. He tried to tickle you, but you just pushed his hands away, angry that he was making jokes at this time."Stop," you repeated once again.
"What happened, what did I do?" He asked in a serious tone."My grandpa died and you're making jokes a smiling when you shouldn't be," you let our sourly.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know," he said defensively. When your tears showed no sign of ending, he pressed his lips against yours. You tried to pull away at, but he wouldn't let you, kissing you until the tears would stop falling.
"I love you. I know how important he was to and I'm sorry for being insensitive," he said when you finally had calmed down.
