He really honestly tried to calm the situation down before it got too intense. You were yelling and he was yelling; unfortunately, this couldn't be stopped. He doesn't like getting mad at you or getting in fights with you, but everything was piling up on him and you giving him attitude once he got back from dance practice had been the final straw. You two had been at each others throat yelling at each other, nit picking every little detail of what he had done wrong that day. It ranged from him leaving a cup in the sink, to forgetting to do something. It didn't matter what, but you kept pointing out everything. On top of that you constantly ignored him or rolled your eyes when he talked to you.
"What took you so long to get home?" You questioned as soon as Hoseok walked in.
"Excuse me?" He asked loudly.
"What took you so long?" You asked more annoyed this time.
"I couldn't get a part right, calm down," Hoseok glared at you.
"It's just a waste of time," you mumbled. That set him off and he started yelling at you and you screamed back in defense. Everything got heated quickly; fortunately, it burned out just as quickly, well, until you rolled your eyes at him.
He had enough, he threw his arm up but let it fall to his side when he saw you flinch, your arms raised to block your face. He did a double take and once that he saw that you actually thought he was going to hit you and he pulled you in a tight embrace not letting go until you relaxed in his arms.
"Why would you think that I would hit you jagi? I wouldn't think about doing that not in a million years."
You had started shaking at that point, scared that you were going to feel the stinging sensation of his hand across your cheek any second. When it didn't come you slowly started to calm down.
He pressed a kiss to your head once he felt your arms slowly slip behind his back returning the embrace.
