The bedroom was engulfed in blackness with only the dim light from Jungkook's phone lighting up the small shared space. Even though he thought his music was quiet, the melodies of his favorite tunes drifted to your tired mind.
These were the usual nights that you and Kookie had. Him listening to his music while he took inspiration while occasionally glancing over when you would move before he ran his hand through your hair and smiled.
He was an insomniac who combated his sleepless nights by working on songs while lying next to you. You were his charm, calming factor, and the thing that helped him concentrate most, which helped a great deal during these nights.
Unfortunately, tonight you were a little more restless than normal. You were constantly moving and sighing. Jungkook would look over to you and frown. Mostly because he couldn't concentrate, but also because he was cold.
He look down at his legs and sighed. Then, he studied you snuggled up in the covers while only leaving him a small corner that he couldn't even use to cover his stomach. After watching you for a few minutes, Jungkook decided that it would be best just to try to sleep, knowing that he wouldn't be very productive tonight.
With that decision, he turned off his music and shut of his phone before placing it on the charger. Jungkook turned to you then proceeded to trace your lips with his thumb and kissing you gently. You frowned and turned away from him, taking the rest of the blanket with you.
"Baby please share the blankets, it's cold."
He gently grabbed and pulled at the blanket, which was easier to grab when you were actually asleep. He saw your grip tighten on the blanket and knew you were faking.
"Honey I know you're awake. Stop faking."
You frowned and groaned in response.
"I'm not," you barely whispered.
Still, you pulled the blankets even closer and further from him. Annoyed he got up and straddled you. Pinning you.
"Ow!" You grumble loudly while you tried to push him off.
He didn't budge except to wrap his arms around you. He leaned down and whispered into your neck.
"Now, stop hogging the blankets."
After, he kissed you neck and then your lips quickly before getting off of you while keeping his arms wrapped around you. He unconsciously smiled when you gave in and cuddled into his side and threw the big blanket over the two of you.
"I love you baby," he said softly.
"I love you more."
