Type: angst with tiny bit of fluff at the end

Nobody's POV

Elliot and Zander were holding hands while walking down the hallway together. They had recently gotten closer ever since Luke and Zander broke up, not because of anything bad, they just preferred each other as friends. Milly had just recently confessed to Elliot, but he turned her down because he liked Zander.

While they were walking, Drew, Liam, Henry and Jake noticed them and started to snicker. Zander noticed this and quickly turned him and Elliot around and they began to walking in the opposite direction. The laughing didn't stop however, as the four boys continued to walk up to them. Elliot soon had enough and turned to them with a vicious look on his face. This made Zander noticeably worried and Elliot quickly gave him a kiss on the nose to calm him down, the laughing got louder and louder. Elliot turned to them again and put out his fists.

The quartet immediately stopped laughing and was trying to turn away, but their legs were shaking so much, they could barely even stand properly. Elliot slowly walked closer and closer to the boys as Liam, Henry and Drew backed off. Jake didn't, he wasn't going to get beaten up by this 'loser', surely not.

Both boys began inching closer and closer until Jake tried to throw the first punch, but he was blocked by Elliot, who threw him to the ground and kicked him in the stomach. It took a minute but, Jake got back up and continued to fight. The three others cheered the brown eyed boy on from behind as Zander didn't say anything, he just looked petrified.

Jake eventually punched Elliot on the jaw, which from Zander's point-of-view, looked like it really hurt. To the coral haired boy, however, he was as fine as ever as he wiped some drool off his face and drew his fists out again. Elliot ended up punching Jake in the eye, the same eye that Milly has punched him, several months prior. That made Jake back off, to Zander's relief.

Zander quickly ran up to Elliot and started screaming at him if he was ok. He agreed and kissed his cheek, making Zander blush and smile. One question, however, still appeared in his mind: 'Why? Why did you fight for me?'
