After a long way drive with my head clouded with thoughts, the car pulled up and stopped in front of the police station. The chief went out of the car and the two beside me followed. One of them carefully let me out of the car and lead me to get inside.

My face is emotionless and cold as we walk up to the station. Tears still trickle down my cheeks and sobs occasionally escape my slightly parted lips. My hair is a mess like I just happened to have a fight with some bitch in the bar. And my clothing are distorted and lay improperly against my body to cover it up.

After passing some closed doors in the hallway we were walking in, they finally stopped and pushed the last door opened. Letting all of us in before one of them closed it again. I silently sat on the vacant chair as the officer that's guiding me took the seat across me. Then the chief took the other seat across the table facing the both of us.

"Alright, let's start this thing." The chief started as he placed his arms on the table and folded his fingers intertwining them with each other.

I can here and register his words in my head. But my mind is still lost as my sight doesn't leave the shoes of the officer in front of me.

"First of all, what happened?" He asked with full seriousness in his tone.

He waited for me to respond. I really want to do it. I want to tell them what happened. But my body contradicts the decision my mind is thinking. After a short while of silence, the officer that asked sighed, shifting his body on his chair to get a better and more comfortable position on it.

"I think he's still stunned from what have happened, sir." The other officer who seems younger and holds a lower position than him suddenly said, making the chief let out a soft sigh again.

"Alright, I guess this wouldn't be done for now. Surely it's obvious she needs to rest. And what else can we get from a girl who just murdered her own father than silence and surprised stares?.." The chief sighed plainly, obviously getting bored of this nonsense conversation.

All of a sudden, my head shot up and the two officers got surprised.

"No. I didn't kill my father... No..." I suddenly spurted out but still in the zone of shock and confusion.

The chief furrowed his brows to me. Then he rested his elbow on the table and put his chin in his palms. Giving an impression as if he's interested to my sudden defense.

"Oh yeah? Then tell me what happened back there?... Tell me how your father died?" He asked with a hint of boredom and judgment in his voice.

I lowered my head as I suddenly felt the pressure roamed around me. I swear I have a lot things to say. But I don't know how to do it... I don't know how to start.

"W-well.. I.., I don't know..." I said softly in full truth and honesty for I really don't know how my father died.

I heard the chief chuckled lowly as if he just goaled catching me off guard. Which is a big question for me. Like he just really thinks I killed my own father.

"See? That's all the convicted suspects tell to us. It's all used up!" He smirked evilly like catching me off guard is a big accomplishment to his work.

"B-but-, ah-I was telling the truth! I didn't kill my father! I couldn't and never would I do!!!" I defended, only making my situation seems worse.
