·•There ain't such a genius without insanity•·

I look around my very familiar surroundings once the light entered back in my field of vision. I feel my muscles ache and hear my bones crack when I started moving my arms and getting up from the bed. My head is still pounding as I gaze out my sight around but I managed to realize where I have ended this time. Then a very familiar and painful voice called out from the outside as hard and heavy steps sound clearly on the stair, proving me right of the place I'm thinking.

"Amanda! You sluggish fucking whore! Get your fucking ass out there and do some motherfucking things around!!!" My Dad's voice echoed in the hallway as he made his way up to my door.

I jolted on the bed when hard knocks suddenly banged on my door. I quickly get up from the bed and eagerly ran to the door, opening it swiftly with a surprise look on my face.

"Daddy!"

"Aren't you really going to do your work you shit?!! It's already evening and there's still fucking nothing in the fridge!!! Get yourself out your fucking room and go get our foods! You bullshit!!!" He shouted angrily on my face and violently pulled me out of the room.

I let out a pained scream when my body landed on the floor from being thrown out from his harsh grips. He then walked up to my side and gave me a very mind-blowing kick on the side that made my ribs to crack and my body flinched in sudden pain.

"Stop being so lame you shit! Get up there and buy some foods!!!" He yelled before continuing in walking to the stairs and down to the living room.

I breathe out heavily and shakily as the pain crawled up from my side to my whole body. Then I started getting up from the floor and standing on my feet again, using the walls to keep my balance and avoiding myself to fall back down. I lamely walked up to the stairs and hold tightly on the railings as I make my way down to the living room. There I see the mad figure of my father lounged deeply on the sofa while chugging the bottle of beer in his hand and pressing the buttons of the remote in the other.

"Damn channels don't even have something good to show." He mumbled angrily and threw the remote of the television on his side. Then he takes the bottle of the beer in his hand once again and complete finished it with just one gulp.

His eyes suddenly fell on me as I watch him silently at the foot of the staircase. He shot me a disgusted look and then throws the bottle he just finished drinking on his other side, making it fell on the other bottles that he had finished drinking and are already laying there for two days ago. I didn't say any words as I slowly walked up to the coat stand and silently get my jacket from hanging on it. Then I walked out straightly of the door without making any noise and started my way down the street to the nearest store where I'll get our dinner.

I sighed in myself as I look out of the way ahead of me. Then I hung down my head and lock my gaze on my feet as they alternate their steps on the cold hard ground beneath them. I was emptied in my thoughts when a passenger suddenly bumped on my shoulder while passing his way opposite from mine. I surprisingly raised up my head and turned back to him to apologize. But the white hooded stranger just continues his pace without caring on anything as if he's also lost in his thoughts and doesn't pay any attention on the things around him. I frowned my brows in confusion to his actions. But I quickly shook it off and continued my way to the store to get the food that we need and finally walk back home to my Dad.
