Quick Note:

Hey pips!! XD
I'm really happy I'm in a good mood to write today!! ^_^ And great ideas are keeping in flashing in my head. :D
So, YOLO!! XD
Update! Update! To the fullest!! :P
Haha!! :D

The irritating sound of continuous beeping rapidly reached my hearing as my consciousness slowly flashed back in my mind. Blinding lights from the ceiling quickly greeted my aching eyes when I opened them up to reveal the world around me. I weakly gaze around and found out that I am in a hospital. Then my mind starts wondering what just happened to me and how I ended up resting in this place.

I look around the whole room trying to figure out how on earth I got in here. Then my eyes suddenly caught up a piece of paper lying on the table beside the bed I'm laying. Slowly and steadily, I reached out my bandaged hand to get it from the table. Then I carefully unfolded it to read the note that is written on the said paper.

'Just gone out for a second.
Be right back. -Andrej'

My brows furrowed after reading the note on the paper. But then my expression quickly calmed down when I remember about Andrej and suddenly, my dream.

"Put the gun down! Now!"

"Shut up woman! If you don't stop crying I won't think twice to shot your daughter in the head!"

"Mommy!!!"

"Amanda!"

Those voices keep ringing in my head as the noise of panic and wails of sirens sound up the whole scene. Different faces of people pop up in my head as the great commotion disturb me up from focusing on my crying mother.

There is her worried face soaked with tears that keep on spilling out from her eyes.

The face of the man who holds nothing but pure rage and anger as he points the gun on my mother's head.

Then the surprised look on Jeff as he watches me crying from his place in the other end of the shelf in the store.

Everything is so blurred and confusing in my head. But I clearly heard the argument and the gunshots as the crime goes fast than my realization around me.

Tears slowly roll down my cheeks as I watch my mother falls on the ground. Then all of a sudden, everything went black and all the things in my head got completely erased. Leaving only one memory that confuses me whenever I remember it. Jeff.

"Amanda! Speak to me!" I hear his voice boomed in my ear but I can't do what he's demanding.

My eyes are locked on him deeply as he shakes my body to wake up my senses. But my mind just goes so dead after everything that happened and seeing my mother's life being taken away from her.

"Amanda!!! Please! Say something!!!" Jeff said more on pleading.

He keeps on shaking me by my shoulders so I can let out even a faint sound. But my mouth can't spill out what my mind wants to say for my throat is drying up and I couldn't find my voice that really want to crack out by now.

My whole body and feelings are covered in numbness while my mind floats in an empty space. But I can feel the big and hot tears that roll down my cheeks and Jeff's tight grip on my shoulders as he shakes me.

"Amanda! Please! Say something!!!" He said and placed his cold, trembling hand on the side of my face.

My hardening heart begins to soften as I feel his touch on my numb and cold skin. Then I finally managed to choke out some words but it only turned out to be a cracked and broken tone.
