So yeah! Here's chapter 30!! Enjoy!! :33

The next day, I woke up from a peaceful sleep and undisturbed night in the house. The sun shines through the window brightly and a good new day seems starting today. This painted a smile in my face as I slowly get the hairbrush from the table and gently comb it to fix my long, black hair. I pulled down and adjusted my clothes after I put the brush back on the table. Then I smiled on my reflection in the mirror before I walked up to the door and went out of the room. My sight quickly caught Dylan soon as I got out and I frowned when I see him dressed properly and readying himself to leave.

"Where are you going?..." I slowly asked as I approached him.

"To my work," He paused. "I have to go back there quickly. They say I'm really needed now..." He sighed as he finished buttoning up his shirt.

I looked down and nodded in response. Then I smiled at him faintly as I think of how tough his job is to handle.

"Well then, take care! And good luck to your welcoming problems." I laughed softly and he chuckled while shaking his head.

"Alright, I'm gonna leave now, huh?!" He said and get his coat in his room before he went back out and closed it. "There's a food in the fridge and as usual, just heat it in the oven. Oscar isn't home because he also has some works to do in his shop. But maybe he'll be home for lunch so just wait him... And don't!" He suddenly paused only to look at me as we're making our way in the stairs to the living room. "Don't let anyone... Nor anyone!... To come in to this house. Understand?!..." He said sternly.

I blinked my eyes a couple of times as I look at him shocked. Then I slowly nodded and his smile slowly went back on his lips.

"Even Andrej..." He then said for the last.

My brows slowly frowned and I gave him a confused look. He sighed and shot me a serious look indicating he meant it. So I just looked down and nodded hesitantly and we continued our way downstairs.

He looked at me once again before he opened the door and goes out. I waved him goodbye as he made his way to the car and get inside it. He then started the engine and drove off the road to his work. As the car started to leave its place, my body stiffened as I stand and fear crawled up my nerves. Because as soon as the view from across the street came in sight, my eyes landed on Jeff that stands quietly while his eyes bore onto me fiercely. The twisted smile on his face shows up clearly as his eyes peek from the shadow of his ebony hair. He has his hood up and his hands are placed inside its pockets. But the danger and threat of his appearance still roams around as his presence stays near my comfort zone.

Quickly, I walked back inside and closed the door and locked it. My breathing is heavy and my heart thumps loudly on my chest as my mind pictures him repeatedly. I leaned my back on the door and tried to calm myself from my sudden anxiety. I closed my eyes and control my breathing to balance the air that gets in and out of my lungs.

When my body stopped trembling, I decided to walked into the kitchen to get some water. I go to the cupboard and get a glass before I go to the fridge and take out the pitcher. I gulped down the cold liquid straightly and let it soothes my drying throat. I was almost done of my glass of water when a loud explosion from a distant suddenly reached my ears. I stopped drinking and frowned as I turned my face to the direction of the door. The explosion was faintly heard from my place here in the house but I'm sure it was so loud and big from the main place of its occurrence. Lots of curiosities flooded my head because of it so I decided to try to check what it was.
