And I know you have a lot more common sense there than me telling you that! XD

Enjoy loves! :3
I shot my eyes open and blinked to adjust my sight in the darkness. What an odd feeling to suddenly wake up in the middle of my sleep...
I slowly get up and look around. The whole room is only lighted by the illuminating shine from the window. The rest of the part where the light can't reach is surrounded by vast darkness.
I sighed and put my head on my palm. It's really so odd that I suddenly woke up from my sleep. It's the first time I ever encounter this. And I don't feel right this time. I don't know why but I feel uneasy and different. Maybe because this encounter is new to me, and maybe I'm having this because of everything that had happened. Surely my past causes enough for me to have insomnia like this. Well it's just still hard for me to move on.
I decided to get up and turn the light on. But I stop dead on my track when I saw a silhouette standing by the doorway. The window faces directly to the door so the light shines on it. That's why I can see the silhouette of the man very clearly.
I slowly back away still staring at the figure. It seems watching me move very steadily. I didn't take my eyes away from it so I fell backward on the bed. I gasped when my back hit the soft mattress and then quickly stood back up. Only to find the silhouette is already gone from where it was standing.
I started to panic and fear rushed down my veins. As fast as I could, I ran to the light switch and turn it on. The light quickly scattered inside the room brightening every part of it. I look around paranoid finding every movement than myself. I then calm myself when I cleared there's nothing else here than me.
I sighed in relief and walk back to the bed to continue my sleep. I decided to leave the light on in case there's really something else here than me. But I stopped on my pace and quickly turned on my heels when the light went off again. I didn't hesitate and quickly ran back towards the switch. I flipped it several times but the light didn't went back again.
This time, I decided to went out and check the whole house. I shakily stand on my place as I stare at the dark hallway in front of me. I hesitate to go and wander in the hall because of being scared to my bones. But I also don't want to go back to the room because I don't know now if it's still safe to do that. I am in the verge of tears as those things swirl in my head. I have no choice but to go and check the house. So I started to took steps towards the dark, empty hallway ahead of me.
My heart is racing and my breathing is getting heavier as I go deeper in the hall. I tried to knock and check Dr. Arthur in his room, but no one is answering so I just keep on walking. Finally, I reached the stairs and hold on the reeling as I take the steps down carefully. My knees are shaking and I feel I'm going to collapse anytime. So I tightened my grip on the reeling to keep my balance and prevent myself from falling down.
I was already in the middle of my way down when I heard a faint sound coming from downstairs. My body freezes and goosebumps raised on my skin when I realized that the sound is coming from footsteps walking on the tiled floor, and it's getting closer to the stairs. My breathing hitched and I started to shake hardly. The whole house is still covered in darkness but I can sense that the thing getting closer. I tried to move my legs and crawl back up to my room. But it seems like my feet are glued on the ground and my whole body has lost its senses. I wait on my place for the thing to arrive and show itself up to me. And when it does, my heart sank down in my stomach and I completely lost my sense around.
My heart beats to the loudest that it can and I can even feel my pulses from head to toe. My eyes are as big as a marble while I'm keeping my gaze on the creature at the bottom of the stairs. The living room is also covered in darkness so the figure appears as a silhouette again.
My whole being intensified as the creature starts to walk up to me. There's nothing working in my head as I watch it comes closer. I started thinking this would be my last now and there's nothing I could do to escape anymore. But with the littlest luck that surprisingly exists in the air, the situation flipped and I suddenly found a strength to move and started to run up to my room. As fast and as eager that my legs could do, I didn't waste any second to run and locked myself in my room. I then pull the side table and placed it against the closed door to block the way.
I breathe heavily and shakily with little tears trickling down my cheeks. My breathing is so heavy that I couldn't feel my heart pounding anymore. My mind is so blank and I couldn't think of anything to do in case the creature burst in and attack me. There's nothing showing in my features but pure fear and nervousness. I'm panicking so damn hard that I'm even worse than a child who's scared of monsters. That's because I'm really scared because of a monster now. And its not only an ordinary monster. This monster is real, and not only a work of my imagination.
"You're so beautiful when you're scared..." A voice suddenly whispered behind me that made me to jump and screech.
The creature, which I supposed to be a guy because of its voice, chuckled as I shakily back away from him on the floor. I started to cry harder as I pull myself away from him. He chuckled lowly and then starts taking steps towards me. I ended up hitting my back on the wall. Then he kneeled down to me when he finally reached me and cornered me on my place.
I couldn't see his face because its hiding in the darkness of our surrounding. But I'm very sure to myself that he's smiling so big and looking at me straight in the eyes. Although I can't see him, I lock my gaze in the level of his eyes. Yes I'm scared as fuck right now, but that's not an option for me to try to see who he really is. My face is messed with tears and pale because of fear. And my body is trembling so hard and freezing on my place.
I want to scream or say anything. But my throat dried up and my chest narrowed, suffocating and not letting me to make any sound. Also my mind is still blank and dead. And there's nothing I could do but to breathe and stare at him.
"You're really so different, Amanda... You're very, very different..." The guy suddenly said in a low, husky voice.
My eyes widened and I jolted up when he reached out his hand and touched my face. I start to shake even harder and tears streak down my cheeks. He caresses my face so softly and slowly. This move of his creeps me more. But with the last strength I'm having in my chest, I managed to choke some words and say the first thing that came up in my head.
"Wh-who a-a-are y-you?..."
He just chuckled and leaned down to my side. My breathing hitched when his hot breath fanned against my ear. Then a low and husky voice escaped his lips that made me to tremble very madly.
"You'll know me soon... But for now,.. Go to sleep."
