"Good morning beautiful." Pain lay in her bed smiling as Joy ran around in a panic trying to get dressed.

"Get up! I overslept. I need to be at work in literally like 20 minutes." She told him tossing his clothes at him.

"I can drop you off." He sleepily offered as he got up putting his clothes on.

Joy knew if she had to go through parking and security she would be late. She hated being late. She was known for being on time. She was well known for the term "early bird get the worm." She sucked her teeth realizing he seemed to be getting his way this morning.

"Fine." She told him as she washed her face, and brushed her teeth and hair before they headed out.

"Don't forget your jacket she told him." Grabbing it off of her couch.

"You can leave it Ima be back." He told her as he looked from her face down to her hand.

"Here." She pushed into his arms.

He tossed it on her couch and pulled her out the door.

"Come lock the door. You finna be late." He told her.

She pushed him out of the way and locked her door before rushing down the hall. "Come on."

He smiled rushing after her.

Joy literally arrived 3 mins before her shift began.

"See I told you we would make it on time." He told her as she rolled her eyes.

"You going to get tired of doin that one of these days." He smiled.

"I'm sure with you I won't. Well, I guess. I'll see you later... Uhm you don't need to pick me up. I can catch an Uber home." She told him getting out of his car.

"Nah, I got you. I'll see you on your break." He told her before he pulled off.

"I knew they was gunna do it last night!" Kesha yelled on Facetime to Greg and Joy.

"I didn't even say we did!" Joy argued.

"You didn't even have to say you did. Kesha she came in here 'late'. " Greg told her as he and Kesha both laughed.

"You guys get on my damn nerves." She tossed Greg her phone as Kesha and he continued to gossip.

"So what else happened?" Greg asked her as he walked back in forth in his office as she filled him in.

"And why did this man think you were tryna adopt her baby!?" She laughed.

"What?! Now you know me and Dean only do the 'Uncle' thing right now." He laughed as he walked back towards Joy.

"Yall are so irritating." Joy said as she grabbed her phone back.

"But fa real. I'm glad you finally told him. I mean y'all it was a lil messy but look! You got a lil family going on." Kesha told her smiling.
