30 days until wedding...

"You think you're ready to come back?" Greg asked as he helped her move her desk.

"Yes, I can come in part-time, the other half I can be at home and work so I help out until I leave for my honeymoon." Joy told him with a smile as they set the desk down.

"Okay. I just didn't want you to take on so much just coming back. Especially with that little guy." Greg admitted with a smile referring to Koi.

"It is fine. Things have been amazing. It's like they are finally falling into place.  Laylay said she would watch him. So outside of her previous planned events we now have someone we trust that will keep Koi and really that was one of my biggest concerns." Joy smiled.

Joy had finally gotten back to her old self and was ready to incorporate mommy life into everything she was doing now. So after a while of considering the offer Joy was thrilled happy Laylay offered to watch Koi when she went back to work. 

Joy and Pain knew about Karen and the ultimatums she had given them unsure how everything would play out they decided to do what they could to support them. For Trey and Laylay it was as simple as family nights full of quality time. When the couple discussed Joy going back to work Trey and Laylay were more than happy to offer to watch Koi while she was at work.

Laylay had been busy trying to get things situated with Karen but with her knowing so much of their personal lives she had decided to get a lawyer and hoped for the best in regards to their son. Lately, Laylay had slowed down on events and had been preparing for the arrival of the baby. Regardless of Karen's attitude and Trey's conflicted feelings, she knew that she would be waiting and ready for the baby's arrival. 

At first, Joy thought it would be a burden since she felt they had already helped them so much but after Trey convinced her they all couldn't have been more happy with the arrangements they had made. One couple got a reliable caregiver while the other got the chance to bond with their nephew.

"Okay, as long as you are ready we are ready to have you back." Greg told her smiling. 

"I missed y'all. Even those nosey ass nurses." Joy admitted.

"Aww even them? I'm sure they will be happy your back." Greg said sarcastically.

"Good now lemme go get my baby from these crazy ladies."  Joy smiled as she headed toward the hallway. 

"You know you might have to fight them to get your baby back." Greg chuckled heading into his office.

She headed towards the nurse's station and didn't see Koi's care seat as she walked up. 

"Hey, Leah where's my lil man?" Joy asked confused not seeing any of the other nurses around.

"His aunt came and said she was bringing him to you. You didn't see her? That was literally a few minutes ago." The young nurse told her.

"Aunt?" Joy was confused and was trying not to panic.

"What did she look like?" Joy asked figuring maybe it was Kesha since Laylay was busy this morning.

"Short cut. She was a little lighter with green or maybe blue eyes?" Leah told her as Joy immediately filled with dread.

"Which way did she go?" Joy asked as the young nurse pointed straight ahead as Joy took off running.

Her heart filled with worry wondering how Sasha knew where she worked. She ran through the doors looking through each waiting room until she made it to the other side of the hospital.

Joy ran all the way through the maternity ward that was on the other side of the hospital searching for him before she saw Sasha with Koi in her arms rocking him.
