Joy And Pain [COMPLETED]

True love

*beep beep beep*

Joy looked over to see the machine beeping as  Pain was sitting in the chair next to her half awake.

The last thing she could remember was feeling pain and blood. So much blood. Then she immediately remembered Sasha having Koi as she tried to jump up from the bed piecing everything together.

"Ugh." Joy let out trying to get out of the bed looking down at her now bandaged shoulder.

"Chill bae." Pain shifted from the chair and reach for her hand.

"Where's Koi?" Joy asked as tears fell down her face.

She hoped Koi was okay. She remembered that she tried to shield him and he was quiet until right before she lost consciousness. Joy didn't know what she would do if she lost him as she panicked. 

"He's fine. Kesha took him on a walk maybe 15 minutes ago. How are you feelin? You okay?" He asked her standing up and moving closer to the bed. 

"She- she grabbed him-" Joy started to cry. 

"And you kept him safe. Because you're strong and amazing." Pain told her grabbing her hand and kissing it.

Joy cried harder.

"Bae don't even do that. Please. He is fine. You're a little hurt but I'm so blessed you are both okay. I am so sorry Joy fa real. I feel like this is all my fault." Pain told her kissing her face over and over again before he kissed her forehead as he rubbed her head.

"You sure he's okay?" Joy said as tears continued down her face.

"I'm sure of it." He told her smirking and rubbing her hand as he nodded his head.

"I tried. I just left him with the nurses for no more than five minutes. " Joy started again crying explaining.

Pain stopped her, kissing her passionately.

He was just happy she was okay. Their son was safe and his main concern had been not losing the love of his life or his family. Joy had become everything to him and he would stand by her and fight for her with his life if it came down to it.

"Bae everything was caught on camera. You don't have to explain. I know bout her making you call me. They had the video and audio. We heard her threaten you and Koi. I'm so sorry." Pain said shaking his head with a look of disappointment as he grabbed her again to kiss her.

The last thing he expected was Sasha to do that. He figured the worst thing that could have happened already was when she showed up at their engagement party. He never saw Sasha as a person willing to risk it all for him. The only person who would was Joy but even she wouldn't go through those lengths. He couldn't understand Sasha anymore. He had grown to see her as crazy and chaotic but now she was completely something else after crossing a line she could never come back from. The one thing he did understand was Joy and their son needed him as much as he needed them. He cherished waking up with her in his arms.

"Pain you aren't responsible for what other people do."  Joy told him with a wet face.

"I just feel like I put you and our son in a situation. I know it wasn't intentional but still... I love you and him. I don't know what I would do without you two." Pain said looking sad.

Joy grabbed his face.

"I honestly didn't know what to do without you. A life without you... That's not what I want. I was already on the way after you called but when Greg told me what happened I couldn't believe it. I got here and they told me some crazy ass shit out ol girl ass. That shit hit something different when they passed me Koi covered in blood. I just instantly thought it was somehow my fault. " Pain lowered his head.
