"You feeling better?" Laylay asked Joy whose attitude had done a complete 360.

"Yeah. Sorry about earlier you guys." She turned to her and Trey.

"No need to tell me. I know how those hormones can be. I'd say we will blame it on the baby." Laylay smiled.

The couples decided on a restaurant that way they could enjoy the rest of the night they had left; doing something before they made it back to the house

"See y'all in the morning." Trey told them as he pulled Laylay into the house.

"Goodnight." Joy told them as they ran off.

"You okay?" Pain asked her again feeling like he was walking on eggshells with her again.

"Yeah, again sorry about earlier." Joy told him with a look of embarrassment. After she had time to reflect on what had happened she felt bad. After all, it was a business meeting he was having. And there she was acting like a mad person. Although she ultimately believed Layla deserved it she knew she could have handled the situation better. Joy also realized Pain was right she had overreacted and didn't even think about their son's safety just because she was mad.

"Just don't do that shit again okay?" He told her giving her a kiss.

He pulled her towards the house.

"Honestly if it was any other place I don't think it would have bothered me as much." He told her nonchalantly.

She chuckled looking up at him.

"What?" He asked as he opened the door.

"You liked that shit." She continued to laugh as they walked in.

"I did." He told her licking his lips.

"You were talkin about me and the whole time you're the sicko. Makin me feel bad." She rolled her eyes.

"Na fa real I was low key mad bout that shit. Now I don't know if he still wants to work with me. I mean yeah he signed a contract but I'm not tryna be on no-shady shit. I'd rather cut ties if it'll cost me more than it's worth." He told her as he sighed.

"I'm really sorry bae." She told him hugging him.

"Oooo so now I'm bae again?" Pain asked her as he looked into her eyes.

"Yea just for right now cause you be getting on my nerves." She kissed him.

"Good. Now that we got that shit over with. It's either bae or daddy. Don't even matter if I'm getting on yo nerves or not." He told her as he started to head upstairs.

"What?" Joy followed behind him.

"You heard me." He told her pulling her into the room.

"No more 'Pain this' or 'Pain that'." He said mocking her. "It's bae or daddy."

"Pain ain't no bod-" Joy started before Pain stopped her and kissed her mid-sentence.

He pulled her to the bedroom grabbing kisses between each step.

"What's my name?" He asked picking her up.
