"I got the perfect place to go," Laylay told Joy excitedly as she turned the corner.

"You said you have the rest of the day off right?" She asked as Joy nodded.

Five minutes later the ladies pulled up to "Sushi bar"

."Uhm Laylay you know I can't eat raw fish or drink?" Joy asked confused.

Laylay laughed. "Girl don't let the name fool you. It's actually a spa. You can get your nails done and drink. Get a pedicure and eat. They've got massages, waxes, make up all of it with a full menu."

"I'll do the drinking and you can do the eating." Laylay told her as she opened the door.

Joy smiled. "Thank you. I appreciate it. It looks so nice in here."

"It should. Pain designed the building." She told her before she continued. "He wasn't really into the idea of food and a spa but he came around. Especially now since it's one of the most popular tourist places in the city."

It was a loft-style setting with high ceilings and glass windows. Each station had a cubicle grouped in two with a table for their nails and a separate table and seating for their food. It's modern and unique.

"Wait he owns this?" Joy asked.

"How many?" The young girl asked behind the counter not even looking up.

"Two, you lil rude ass girl." Laylay told her as she looked up.

"Aww Lay I didn't even know you were coming." The young girl adjusted herself.

"Obviously I need to stop in more often." Laylay glared at her.

"Sis don't be mad chill." She guided them to two open pedicure stations.

"Lisa don't have me fire you. Don't be doin that shit to people. I'ma tell Trey to put your ass in the kitchen." She told her sitting down.

"Dang." The young girl sucked her teeth and walked off.

"I'm sorry girl that is my niece." Laylay ushered Joy to sit next to her.

"She's only 15 but she's so damn rude." She shook her head as she passed Joy a menu.

"Hey, ladies." The beauticians greeted them.

"We are just wanting to grab something to eat with pedicures." Lay told them before they placed their orders.

"So you both own this ?" Joy concluded.

"Well, I rent the building from him. He does own a part of this business technically but it's me and Trey's while my sister is the manager. " she answered.

The ladies picked their colors as Joy ate and got their feet painted.

By the time they were done a few hours had passed.

"Damn, I told him I'd be right back." Laylay let out as she left a tip for the ladies.

"Who Pain?" Joy asked as they walked out.
