Name game

Pain had been busy getting his personal matters and business matters taken care of. His family with Joy came first, then his businesses including the streets and now all that was left was Layla.

He hadn't been in constant contact with her but they talked at least once a week in regards to an update on how the baby was doing. She listed him as medical contact and from there he found out he could request a DNA test on her behalf. He had done it over a week ago and today was the day for the results. So he decided since he was up early he might as well cook for Joy.

"Mmmhmm" Joy walked into the kitchen smelling food.

"Good morning bae." He kissed her.

"Good morning daddy. " She grabbed a piece of bacon and grabbed some plates down from the cabinets.

"What are you doin up so early?" Joy asked.

She knew on Pain's off days he would try to get her to lay in bed with him as long as possible.

"I got a special day for us planned." He told Joy.

"Interesting,,.. what could you plan that's so special you would be up early?" Joy asked with peering eyes.

Pain chuckled at her as he dished out the food.

"You like to spoil surprises J." Pain told her.

He had been trying to surprise her recently but everything he had done she was a step ahead. The only thing she hadn't caught on to was the house.

"Bae. You mad cause I found out one surprise?" She asked laughing.

"Yup." He said like a toddler.

"Well, you gotta do better then." She laughed.

Joy knew that he hated when someone ruined surprises. Lately, it had been her. She had called them all coincidence she just guessed correctly.

"Oh, I will." He told her taking a seat next to her.

"So there is something I want to talk to you about." Joy said taking a bite of her food.

"Same." Pain told her.

"Well, you first." She smiled.

Pain's phone went off.

"Nope, You can go ahead." Pain told her looking down on his phone and turning it over.

She smiled loving the attention he gave her.

"Sooo. I've been thinkin about names. I got one I really like and wondered if I could run it by you." Joy started off with a smile.

"Okay shoot." He told her taking a break from eating.

"Koi." Joy waved her hands as if she was waving a wand.

Pain laughed at her gesture

"I don't hate it but I don't love it either." He told her as he rubbed her belly.
