Joy And Pain [COMPLETED]

"Have you talked to Karen?" Trey asked as he looked over to Laylay.

"Yea, she told me the appointment is Wednesday at 8. Can you make it?" She asked him looking up from her phone.

"I gotta meetin but Ima try. If not maybe you can record it?" Trey asked with a raised eyebrow.

When Trey, Laylay, and Karen talked about keeping the baby they all agreed they would be a partnership in regards to raising the baby. Karen knew that Trey and Laylay wanted a baby and to her, it just made sense to keep it since she wasn't getting any younger and she felt as if she could trust them both.

Trey and Laylay promised to help with costs and to be there for appointments as long as Karen remained consistent and shared custody. They hadn't figured out everything but they accepted that 50/50 custody would be fair since they lived in the same city and all had transportation.

"You better be there...I'm prolly going to record it anyways." Laylay told him as she climbed in his lap.

"Yea yea. So is she going to be here by the time Pain gets here?" Trey asked wrapping her in his arms.

Pain had enjoyed his last few days out in New York.

He really didn't think he would but it was the perfect trip to get Joy and the bullshit Layla pulled off his mind.

It had been a few weeks before he decided he need to fall back from Joy since she wasn't sure about being with him. Pain didn't want to chase after a woman who had no faith in them being together. He would text her every day but she would never call. Before his trip, her decided to leave her alone and he would just check on her when he got back.

He was heading out of town tying up the last of his loose ends in the game and he wanted to have Sean and Trey there with him. It was crazy cause both Sean and Trey seemed busy so he figured maybe it wouldn't be so bad to make another trip back to New York with his boys.

Pain had just landed and was headed over to his brother's for some big news that he and Laylay wanted to talk to him about.

He checked his phone for one missed call and messages from Joy.

As much as Pain hated to admit it he hoped somehow or some way Joy would be there waiting on him.

Pain figured the least he could do was make her miss him.

As stubborn as she was he could be even worse. He knew that they were both entitled to space but with Joy he didn't think logically. He just wanted her back home with him in his arms.

Joy had spent the last two days crying and laying in bed wishing she had never come home.

"You need to eat." Montay came in with a bag of food.

"I need to be let go." She told him with tears on her face.

"Joy you makin this shit hard on yo self. I told you that you mines." Montay told her grabbing her by the neck again before he shook her and tossed her on the floor.
