"Now I'm lowkey jealous." Kesha told Joy after she told her all about her trip.

"Girl don't be. We will plan something soon." Joy told her with a smile.

"Look at you all glowing and whatnot. I barely heard from yo ass while you was gone. I was getting a little worried." Kesha admitted.

She had become accustomed to talking to Joy every day throughout the day. It had just been their routine for some years and with Joy gone Kesha definitely felt her absence.

"Well, you know." She told her as she gushed into the phone.

"I'm honestly glad you had fun you deserved it." Kesha told her as she was getting to bed.

"Thanks girl. What are you doing today? Do you want to do a lunch during my break?" Joy asked her as she finished getting ready for work.

"We can but can we please leave Sarah big irritating ass at home?" Kesha asked her seriously.

"We can try but you already know I got some words for her ass." Joy told her a little irritated.

"I love when you mad." Kesha giggled at her friend. "Now we gotta invite here. It's like this whole other side when you mad. And I love it!"

"I'm serious. I know her ass is responsible for tellin Layla ass I'm pregnant. I damn sure know it wasn't Pain cause she said something to him before I got to tell him. She's the only common denominator. " She shook her head at the camera.

"I told you her ass been actin weird." Kesha told her with a yawn.

"You did. Fa real I just want to talk to her upfront and if she don't see what she done wrong and apologize then I'll address it from there." Joy told her still holding her phone.

"As you should boo! Now get yo ass to work. You about to be running late." Kesha reminded her before she finished getting ready.

"I'll see you at lunch?" She asked Kesha.

"Yea boo. Just text me an hour before you head out." She told her.

"Okay bye love you!" They nearly said in unison disconnecting the call.

Joy tried calling Pain but didn't get an answer.

She figured he was either already at work or he was still asleep since he ended up staying late last night and just decided to head to work.

"You look radiant!" Greg greeted her as she entered his office.

"Good morning Greg. Thank you!" She gave him a hug.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" He asked before passing her over some files to review.

"I did almost too much." Joy admitted.

"Good. I'm glad you did. You definitely seem to be glowing and our boy! He's getting big." He told her rubbing her stomach.

"Well thank you. As moody as he has been making me he better make me glow." She laughed.

The pair spent the morning going over a few files and discussing alternative methods of treatment for patients. Some patients were suggested to stay with medication and others with natural methods. Before they knew it the morning had passed and it was nearly time for Joy to meet her friends for lunch.
