Joy And Pain [COMPLETED]

Family Engagement.

"It's not even our wedding day and you taking forever." Pain complained as he was buttoning up his vest.

"Bae I'm literally done. It took me a minute to get in this dress and I know you ain't talkin." Joy rolled her eyes.

"Dang I thought you ain't know how to do that no more." Pain pulled her close and kissed her.

"I can't believe you let them take my baby." Joy whined missing Koi.

They had been busy all weekend with dinners and meet ups Pain wanted a night alone with her and he knew Sean and Kesha would never say no. He also figured if they did say no Trey and Laylay would have no problem with keeping him. He just wanted to do something special for Joy because she really meant a lot to him.

The day his sisters arrived she surprised him again. Not only did she have a whole weekend planned for everyone to get to know each other but Joy showed him his completed office studio. He was still amazed as if he hadn't peaked in before at the room with glass walls. It was just her small details that made him love it even more. The pivot on the hill where she had the studio added always seemed to catch the best light whether it was during the day or night.

Joy set the office up with candles and supplies with a canvas for him to sketch and paint her. She knew he hated to paint but hoped it would be something he would be willing to try out.

Pain always seemed to be surprised by her and he was in love with the idea as they got paint all over the studio from them making love. He figured she seemed to always surprise him and he had to do something in return. Since he had Koi taken care of and Joy had been busy running around all day with his family he figured she needed a break. When they got home he had them set up for a couples massage package. Pain eventually kicked everyone out to be alone with Joy insisting to get give her a massage just to make love all night again.

Joy loved his surprise but also missed Koi way more than they both expected and spent most of the morning complaining on how much she missed him.

"Bae it has not even been 24hours. We will see him once we make it so hurry up." Pain kissed her neck and squeezed her hips.

Pain had just got a fresh cut and wore a dark navy 3 piece blue suit while Joy wore a black and sheer dress with black heels. Her hair had gotten longer since having her Koi so she decided to wear her hair in big loose curls that went down her back.

"Okay daddy." Joy winked at him with a half smile.

"Iono why you be playin when you know we can be late fa real." Pain grabbed her hand pulling her toward the room.

"Stop come on after all that complaining. You know I'm ready to see my baby." She told him kissing him and pulling him out the room and down the hall.

The couple headed to the restaurant where Kesha had everything already set up.

It was an upscale location downtown with a reserved section with a sign reading:

"So she just goin to have my real name out here." Pain looked to Joy.

"Yeah cause I'm sure 'Joy and Pain' sounded better." She said sarcastically laughing pulling him towards the reserved area.

She opened the door and the room was filled with both family and friends.

"Congratulations!" They all applauded to the couple.

Pain pulled Joy close and wrapped her in his arms and kissed her cheek as their friends took photos of the couple.

"Boo you look good." Tatiana hugged her.
