"I am so tired of you telling people we are having a boy." Laylay pushed Trey as she ran over to Karen giving her a kiss rubbing her small stomach.

"Exactly. He told Pain and Sean 'my son' this 'my son' that." Karen agreed laughing as she mocked him.

"Y 'all we having a boy. Y'all  goin to see." Trey laughed before he kissed both of their foreheads and grabbed his keys from the table.

"We will." Laylay said as she pulled Karen out the door and they all headed to the car.

They had decided to go with Doctor Stevens since she seemed too good with Joy. Laylay had tagged along with Joy during a few appointments and when she was hospitalized Dr. Stevens seemed to do a great job with her so Laylay wanted her to help with them and their special situation.

"Good afternoon!" Dr. Stevens greeted them as she entered the exam room.

"Good afternoon." They all greeted her back.

"How are we doing today?" She smiled looking over to each of them.

"We are all doing good." Karen answered for the group as they all smiled and nodded.

"Any nausea or concerns?" She asked.

"No, so far everything seems to be smooth." Karen admitted.

Pregnancy so far for her seemed to be easy. A few weeks ago she had bad morning sickness that lasted for 3 days. Other than that Karen could say she was blessed. Both Laylay and Trey had been more than supportive of her during this time.

She was happy to be expecting her first child. Even more happy that her relationship with Laylay and Trey had been going well. She did feel like she was the third wheel sometimes but they often tried to make her feel included and for Karen that was enough.

"So it looks like you are just a little over 16 weeks." Dr. Steven announced as they smiled and nodded excitedly.

"Yup." Laylay said proudly holding Karen's little stomach.

"So I'm guessing you are dying to see baby?" Dr. Stevens said as she grabbed the machine.

"Now you know we are." Trey smiled as Karen nodded.

"Okay well let's take a look." She told them turning on the machine.

Trey and Laylay scooted to the edge of their seats.

thump thump thump thump.

"Okay, baby sounds fine." She smiled as they all sat with smiles on their faces as Laylay had tears in her eyes.

"Looks like you all are expecting another little boy in the family." Dr. Steven turned over smiling at them.

"Yes!" Trey jumped up as if he just won the lottery.

"Really?" Karen asked in disbelief as Laylay sat crying.

"Yes, a boy! Congratulations. " She smiled confirming.

Trey swooped Laylay up and spun her around before kissing Karen.

"I told y 'all." He turned back to Laylay who was still in his arms and kissed her passionately.

Karen watched them once more feeling like an outsider.

"He did. Didn't he bae?" Laylay wiped her tears kissing Karen.

Karen nodded and smiled.

They did their best to keep Karen included but Karen was unsure if she could handle being second string to Trey. Now with the baby on the way she was unsure if she would still feel like an outsider once he came.
