(Evelyn)
"Zak!" I called to him. "Enough."

By now my mother was in tears. Oh great.

"No, Evie dear. He's right. We feel horrible about the last 6 years. We missed you every day but we knew it was our fault. We threw you out and Zak has been your only source of family until you became a mother. We are so sorry honey. We decided to try and make things work out with you and your family and actually will be moving out here for your father's new job."

"What? That's..." I started.

"Mom? Dad?" I can hear Grayson and Emery come in from being outside with Gracie.

"In here, loves. Come here, I want you two to meet some people." I called out. By now the twins had been fed and Zak & I both took a baby to burp.

"What is it Mom?" Grayson asked as he eyed the room.

"Gray, Emery. This is Helen and Phillip Hadley. They are my Mom & Dad and your Grandma & Grandpa." I said as I turned the two around to face my parents.

"Grayson? Emery? Can we have hugs?" My mom asked with her arms out.

The kids turned to look at me.

"It's ok guys. They're your grandparents." I assured them.

The kids walked into my moms arms and soon squeezed her tight. My mom and dad group hugged them with tears in their eyes.

"Hi grandma and grandpa." Emery said.

"Hi my sweet angels." She said holding them tighter.

Once they broke apart, my mom grabbed her grandsons face.

"Grayson, my handsome grandson. You sure look like your father. Doesn't he, Nancy?"

"Oh yes. From the very first time we met I thought he looked exactly like my son."

My Dad grabbed Emery and sat her in his knee. "And you Miss Emery, you look like another beautiful little girl I use to know. You look just like your Mommy!" He said kissing her cheek.

"Thank you!" Emery said before hopping off to join her brother outside.

Sage started to fuss in Zak's arms and Oliver was wide awake.

"Oh , May we please hold our grandbabies?" My mom asked.

I got up and carefully placed my little boy in my fathers arms. Sage was still fussy but once I put her hear my chest, she relaxed. I carefully placed our baby girl in my moms arms.

"Oh Evelyn, you and Zak have created the most beautiful amazing family together." My father told me as he admired his grandson.

"Thank you mom and dad, really. For everything. I've missed you two so much." I said as i cried.

"Nancy, thank you for being such a wonderful grandma and mother in law to our sweet girl and our grandkids. You sure have the heart of four grandparents, the kids didn't miss a thing."

"Well Helen, thank you for raising the woman of my sons dreams. She is a gift." Nancy responded.

"And Zak...thank you. For loving our girl when we didn't. Thank you for making us grandparents and giving us 4 beautiful grandkids as well as two guardian angels. We love you. What do you say we all restart?" Helen says.

"Yes! I'd like that."
