Evelyn's POV

I woke up hours after Z had left. It was now 9 am here in Sin City. Em & Gray were both still asleep.

I checked the "Find My Friends" app to see where my husband was on his bus. Nope, still so far from Indiana.

This would be my first time alone for a long amount of time with just the kids since I became a mother of two and Z & I had that week long separation. I could handle it. I mean, I always had Nancy to call if I needed anything.
*************************************************Emery started to fuss and I heard her from the monitor. She was probably hungry and needed to be changed.

I walked into her nursery and opened the blinds.

"Well good morning my sweet baby girl! How are you?" I asked as I approached her crib.

I look down to see my sweet Emery Lyn smiling at me.

"Hello, hello. Are you hungry, Princess?" I ask.

I picked her up and changed her diaper. I took her back to mine and Zak's bed. I decided to FaceTime the hubby while she ate.

Suddenly my sweet husband's face appeared.

"Good Morning Mr Bagans." I say with a smirk.

"Good Morning to you, Mrs Bagans. You look so beautiful this morning. How did you sleep?" He asks.

I smiled and stroked my hungry girls face as she ate.

"I slept in, baby. Em just woke up and is feeding and Gray is still sleeping." I told him.

"I miss you so much already, love. I didn't realize how hard this all would be once I brought you and the kids into the mix. Every time I leave you, it gets harder and harder, you know that?" He asks.

"I know, baby. Believe me."

"You're the lucky one who still has two pieces of me running around when I'm gone. All I get are pictures." He said.

"We did make some beautiful babies, didn't we? They certainly are Bagans babies." I said looking down at Em and smiling with how much she looked like me with dark features like Zak.

"Can you believe our son will be two years old when I come home?"

It was now October which meant Zak's favorite time of year was approaching. Halloween was a huge thing for us. Although it'd only been two years and we only had had one Halloween together, I knew it was a big deal.

"I know. I can't believe he's two. It seems not too long ago I was just finding out I was gonna be a Mama. This time last year, we had just found out we were gonna be welcoming this little lady." I said as I put Emery on my shoulder to burp her.

"You were pregnant two Halloween's in a row. You poor thing,' he said with a laugh. "Third times the charm right?" He winked through the screen.

"What are you saying, Bagans?" I asked knowing exactly what he meant.

"I'm asking if you'd possibly want to have another baby, Mrs Bagans."
