I drove home with a smile on my face. I knew damn well I had just confused the hell out of my ex-wife. It would be no time before she'd come back and things would be normal.
I had the kids for the weekend and as much as I loved them, it sucked sleeping alone those nights there were in the house.
Usually I'd pick up a chick at the museum. I hardly ever slept alone. All I had was Gracie.
The kids saw my Mom a lot on the weekends I had them. Regardless of what a manwhore I was, my Mom still wanted everything to do with her grandbabies.

I never talk about the spooky shit Ive seen at my house because I don't want to lose my kids or freak chicks out but let me tell ya, that shits freaky as hell.
I use to have a really dark energy that caused me a lot of nightmares and reactions. Every night I'd lay sick in bed, fearing for my life.
The spirit went away when Evelyn moved in and only made an appearance twice when Grayson was a little baby. I lived 7 whole years with so much love and light in my house, I forgot about the entity.

Grayson was still very sensitive to the spirits and ghosts. He got that from me. I'd take him to the museum every so often and he'd pick up on things far sooner than me.
He was the only one of my kids that showed any paranormal powers but I was so proud.

The kids were all in their beds passed out from the fun day we had with Grandma Nancy. It was 2 in the morning and I had just dozed off after working on my laptop in bed.
The house was silent and Gracie was asleep in the hall between all of the kids bedrooms. I was just about to hit a deep sleep when I heard my door open.
Emery had walked in and stood by my side of the bed.
"Daddy? Daddy. Wake up." She whispered.
"What is it baby?" I asked startled awake.
"There's a scary black shadow man in my room and he won't leave. I'm scared, Daddy!"
Right then I know that after 7 years and Evelyn leaving the house, the evil entity was back.
