We load up in Evelyn's suv and head off. Evelyn placed her hand in mine and squeezed to signal she was panicky. Evelyn is pretty laid back and calm with most things but becomes an anxious and protective mama bear when it comes to her Cubs.

Upon arrival at my mothers house, I rushed in to explain the situation to my mom. She understood and her & I greeted everyone at the door while each holding a twin.

Evelyn hurried to get our babies before she had to share with her parents.

"Hello my babies, hello! Hi! This is Mommy, yes, hi!"  She said to the babies.

"Mom, do you have any of Ev's milk left for the babies?" I asked looking in her fridge and freezer.

"No dear, I'm sorry. I should've told you to bring more supply." She called back.

The babies were starting to get hungry as I held them, so back to mama they went.

By now my newfound in-laws were getting acquainted with my mom before the older two kids and the babies would meet them.

"You two hungry? Huh? Yes, hold on, let mama get adjusted." Ev said as I helped her set up pillows to feed the twins.

After she was settled, covered and feeding, the conversation turns back to me & E.

"My, you certainly are a natural when it comes to parenting aren't you two. Where ever did you learn to manage four children like this?" Helen asked us.

"Zak has always had a soft side, he never really planned on settling down and being a father but once Evelyn entered his life and Grayson was born, he certainly changed for the better. He's an amazing husband to your daughter and it's been so sweet to see him become a daddy." Nancy tells her.

"Now Zak, you hunt ghosts, correct? Has our little girl gone on any investigations with you? I would hope not. I would think you have enough love for her to keep her safe." Phillip said.

I clear my throat and ball my fist.

"Actually, I love my wife enough that I immerse her into my paranormal lifestyle so she sees things the way I do. In fact, your daughter & I met at my haunted museum, which she partially owns and works at now, AND we spent the whole afternoon fucking in the dungeon on the day we met AND your grandson was conceived in the basement of that 'demonic place'. Come to think of it, the museum has had something to do with each of our children as well as our marriage. Your daughter loves me and is so interested in my world that she forced me into letting her be in a live investigation at the museum while 6 months pregnant which led to her being pushed down the stairs and going into early labor and being on bed rest for four months with your granddaughter. Those twins right there that she's feeding, they were spirits that roamed this museum and communicated with her through devices before she ever knew she was as expecting. So yeah, I have taken her on investigation and yes, your grandchildren all have different spiritual gifts like I do but you'd have to actually come around to know that!?!"
