**1 year later**

Pregnant. Holy shit. Pregnant.

I went in for my annual, expecting nothing of the sorts.

Typical blood tests ran, typical routine check up done.

Two miscarriage last year made for a hell of a year.

The Drs & nurses knew about mine and Z's two angel babies and when my Dr came in to talk to me and a nurse followed soon behind, I expected the worst news.

Maybe something was wrong with my reproductive system after all? Maybe some sort of fertility issues?

I began to panic more so when they shut the door behind them and instructed me to lay back.

They were going to show me some sort of ultrasound of my messed up ovaries, I'm sure.

I laid back, tried to relax and close my eyes. The nurse moved the ultrasound wand around but no one said anything.

I opened my eyes when I heard an all to familiar sound.

"Mrs Bagans, do you know you're pregnant?" The Dr asked me.

"What? No? I can't be?"

"Uh huh, you're pregnant. Hold on...what's that?" She questioned out loud. She instructed the nurse to move back to where the wand just was.

The nurse clicked a few buttons and suddenly one heartbeat sound changed.

Not one, but two. Two heartbeats. Two babies.

And then it hit me.

Could these twin babies be the two spirit twins I talked to in the fair room at the museum?

Zak was home for a bit to oversee the projects and expansions of the museum.

I checked the location of him on my phone and drove quickly to the museum.

10 weeks pregnant. It was now April. The 5th to be exact. It was Zak's birthday. I was due in October.

Our babies were now his present.

I snuck into his office and there he was. My sweet husband, the father of my kids, my paranormal prince.

His back was turned to the door. I knocked softly and let myself in.

"Hey babe!" He said excitedly.

"Hi Daddy!" I said to him.

He scoot back his chair and motioned for me to sit on his lap.

"Daddy?" He questioned.

I sat down on his lap and gave him the ultrasound picture rolled up with a birthday bow.

"Happy birthday, birthday boy!" I said as I kissed his cheek.

He unrolled the picture and studied it before his eyes got wide.

"Oh my god. OH MY GOD! Twins?" He asked with a hand over his mouth looking at me.

By then my eyes had tears in them.

"Twins! I'm 2 and a half months pregnant!"

"Oh my god, Ev! What?! When are they due?!"

"October. I also think they might have been the twins I helped in the carnival room." I tell him.

"Wait what?"
