(8 months later. Emery is 8 months old, Gray is 23 months old.)
Since returning home and becoming a family once more, Zak really stepped up his game as both a father and a husband.
He spent every moment that he wasn't at work, with me, the kids and Gracie.
He loved his kids. He really did. I knew he had a bond with Grayson but to see him interact with our sweet Emery melted me.
This was the Zak I didn't get to see when Gray was born. Zak missed out on fathering a newborn in the first 4 months.
He wasn't there for newborn diapers changing, late night feedings, my postpartum, none of it.
Seeing him hold our newest slice of Heaven was surreal.

Our marriage and our sex life seemed to have gotten better than ever since coming back together.
Once a week, usually Thursday nights, we would leave the kids with Nancy and head on down the strip. There we would go clubbing, grab a bite to eat or catch a show. Being in Vegas, there was always something to do.
After the strip, we would head back to the museum which was closed that time of night and make out like two hormonal teenagers.
The sex in the museum reminded me of when we first met every single time. It was mind blowing.

Zak was in between shooting seasons which meant he was home with us a lot.
I loved the times that he didn't have to take off to new locations. I felt a whole lot safer when he was home with us.
