As I Am (Part 2 of There You'll Be)

Here We Go

We got the kids in the car and drove to Zak's. Tonight we would be telling the guys about our little guy. Sure I was almost at the halfway point of my pregnancy but my belly was easy to hide before we announced.

The guys, Nancy and the kids all gathered in the front room. We were here to discuss the next season of GAC and all the technical things. It was October and  they were planning for the special.

"What I'm thinking, we do the Halloween special." Take off November & December for holidays and then start up January around new year's. From there we will shoot for 3 weeks, take three weeks and so forth." Zak mentioned.

"Well Evelyn is due March 12 or so, so we need to schedule around that. I know she's gone longer than her due date with the other babies but she doesn't know how our baby's delivery will be." Jay threw out casually.

"Well yeah. Evelyn's due date is...wait. What?" Zak paused.

I took my coat off to reveal my tight shirt and baby bump.

"Surprise!" I said.

Zak's face went white. This wasn't involving him anymore but that made him sick.

"You're pppp...pregnant? With Jay's child?" Zak asked.

"Yeah. I'm almost 5 months pregnant with our son..." I said.

"Congrats guys! Jay as a Daddy. Look at that!" Aaron said as he hugged me.

"That's amazing! Oh my heck. Seriously such a good surprise!" Billy said.

"We are pretty damn excited for him to arrive. I still can't believe it. He's almost here." Jay said giving me a kiss.

"Ummm will you guys excuse me? I need to go upstairs for a second." Zak mumbled.

"Congratulations my dear. My sweet Evelyn and my adopted son, Jay. Expecting a new little boy." Nancy hugged me.

"Thank you Nancy. We love you." I said.

"Mommy, you're pregnant?!" Emery asked.

"Yes baby. You get a little brother!"

All the kids came and hugged me.

"Babes you have to stay home with Grandma and Grandpa Hadley when we get home. Mama and Jay have to go see his Mom & Dad and tell them about baby brother, okay?" I told the kids.

We went home, dropped the kids off and headed to the Wasleys. They knew me and the kids from meeting them at parties when I was married.

I gave myself anxiety about telling his parents that I was pregnant with their sons son after just getting divorced.

"Evey, don't worry. They'll love you, us and him. Trust me." He assured me.

I nodded and shut my eyes the rest of the drive to relax.
