Them. Everything about them. They placed the two on Evelyns chest and Ev looked up at me.
I cried a little harder and knew that the level of love grows deeper with each child.
The nurses took them to an area in the corner of the room.
"6 lbs 4 oz for baby boy. 6 lbs for baby girl" they said.
They cleaned them up and wrapped them in blankets. They then brought them over and set them in Evelyn's arms.
Ev looked down at them and smiled. I walked over to the bed and looked down upon my son and daughter. They were so fragile. They opened their eyes and looked around
"We did it!" Ev said. I looked at her and kissed her.
"Do you want to hold them?" she asked me. I put my arms out and she gently placed them in them. Our son began to fuss a little but I rocked him till he was calm again. I looked down at them both and smiled.
"Do these twins have names?" The nurse asked.
"Our son's name is Zachary Oliver Bagans and our daughter is Evelyn Sage Bagans. Oliver and Sage for short." Zak told her.
Their full names were last minute decision. Since they were the last Bagans babies, it made sense to have both an Evelyn Jr and yes, you guessed it, a Zak Jr.
