(Zak's POV)

The PEOPLE editor & photographer left at 6 pm. Tonight would be the first night since the twins arrival that we don't have company.

I couldn't wait for fans to get their hands on the magazine to see our news but for now I was grateful that the twins were just our joy.

I couldn't believe I was now a father of 4, 6 in total. I got really lucky in the wife department too.

"Evelyn? Are you hungry? Can I get you anything?" I asked as I was in the kitchen.

"No love, I'm fine. Thank you." She called over her shoulder.

I stood in the kitchen, making myself some salad and watched my wife with our children.

Evelyn had Oliver in her left arm & Sage in her right. Grayson sat next to her on the right and Emery on her left. The older two amazed at their new siblings.

"Mommy? These two babies were in your belly together?" Emery asked.

"Yep. They were squished so tight in there."

"Did it hurt when they were born?" Grayson asked.

"A little bit but it hurt when you were born too, babe. All the hurting went away when you were born though." She answered.

The older two cuddled into their mommy as the twins were placed up on her shoulders.

"Mommy? What makes you happy?" Grayson asked.

"Well baby, that would have to be you and Emery and Sage and Oliver and Daddy and Gracie. What makes you happy?"

"How much you and Daddy love each other. And playing with Emery. And my uncles." Grayson said.

"What makes me happy is my babies, Gway, Gwandma Nan, you and Daddy and princesses." Emery said.

It was really quiet for a few minutes before Emery said to Ev. "I love you Mommy."

Evelyn placed her arm around our daughter and kissed her head.

"I love you too, baby. And I love you too bud." She said to Grayson.

By now the babies were fast asleep. Evelyn placed them in their swings in the front room.

Grayson and Emery were still snuggled up to Evelyn on the reclining part of the couch.

It was again the week before Halloween. The kids stayed up watching Ghostbusters and other Halloween shows with us.

The twins were still asleep in their swings and so I decided to change them and put them to bed without Evelyn's help, to give her a break.

Upon coming back into the family room, my beautiful Mama Bear and two of our Cubs were snuggled under a large blanket, out cold.

I snapped a picture, took Gracie outside and then decided to leave them be. I went to bed.
