(Evelyn's POV)

8 weeks pregnant. My third Halloween in a row being either pregnant or delivering. Once again, damn Bagans.

As soon as the Dr let the news slip, that maternal switch seemed to flip on in my mind.

My hand almost seemed to know then that it had a bump, though small and almost nonexistent, to cradle.

A third little baby Bagans to snuggle and love.

(Zak's POV)

"We gotta tell my Mom, the guys, the kids. How do we do that? Of course I want to announce on my favorite holiday before it's over."

There is no response from my wife.

"Ev?" I question.

When the light turn red, I happen to glance over. There, in my wife's right hand, is the sonogram of our little boo. Her left hand is cradling her tiny bump.

Ev was meant to be a Mama. Seeing her with Gray as a baby to how easy she added Emery into the mix, she gracefully dove into Mom Mode with each of our kids from the second she knew they were there.

I couldn't wait to tell everyone. Gray was going to be a big brother again and Emery, a big sister. My Mom went from having zero to three grand kids in 3 years.

She loved being a Grandma. I don't think she ever thought I'd settle down. Neither did I, really, but seeing my wife and the love she already feels for our soon to be third little tiny peanut, makes me understand just why I didn't settle down til later on.

(Evelyn)
"Zak? Evelyn? Oh my goodness. Are you okay?!" Nancy said when she opened the door into her home.

"Hi Mom. Yeah, we are great. Maybe even more than great." Zak said as his eyes shot at me.

"What...what?" Nancy questioned as she looked from Zak to me.

"Nan, we're pregnant. You're going to be a Grandma again." I told her as I held my belly.

"Oh my gosh. Really? You guys!" She said as she hugged me.

"Do you want to see?" Z asked as he handed her the ultrasound.

Nancy took the picture and with her purple painted fingernail, she traced our tiny little babe.

"Oh! Look at my newest tiny grandchild!"
