It was about 10 something at night and I was in my bathroom with the girls as we are were getting ready. It was Kemonté's birthday today but it was both of our birthday party tonight being my birthday was in a few hours.
He was 16 and I was going to be 19. I was hoping to have a good time. Everybody had planned something for us although I told them not to worry about me. I hated when people did things for me they would always throw it back in my face when we got into it. But it was whatever I was still going to have a good time.
"Damn Jay." Skylar said staring at my birthday fit making me laugh. Jonnie had finally finished straight my hair, I decided to get it red being it was one of my favorite colors and it was going to be Valentines Day.
"You look good!" I smiled.
"Thank you so much, first time I've ever dressed like this." I chuckled looking down at the heels I was wearing. Everybody knew I didn't really wear heels, this was only going to be a one time thing though. I applied lip gloss to my lips.
I actually looked really good.
"Come on y'all let's go." I said and we all walked out the bathroom. Everybody left out the room except me. I quickly grabbed Jordan's arm before she could exit. I pulled her top down a little before smiling.
"You're still 15." She rolled her eyes walking out the room. I grabbed my phone before leaving out the room. All eyes landed on me as I walked down the stairs.
"Damn." Kentrell said making me chuckled. I walked over to him and he smiled. He grabbed a crown placing it on top of my head.
"Fine ass." He tried to kiss me but I turned my head.
"Nigga said sike." He glared at KD and Boomer as they laughed.
"You're taken which equals to me being single." I said.
"Let's go." I walked out the house leaving him standing there looking stupid. I wasn't about to fall for all that. I was trying to better myself, I couldn't do that if we got back together. That would be taking 10 steps back. Maybe in the future there could be a us but as of now that's a big no.
I seen there was a whole limo outside for both me and Taé. I smiled going to get in, the driver helped me and I thanked him. I took a seat looking at all the alcohol in front of me. I wanted to slow down on the alcohol but it was my birthday, it wouldn't be fun if I didn't get drunk. But this had to be my last time.
I grabbed the small bottle of Patron opening it and everybody got in. Kemonté sat beside me and I smiled.
"Happy birthday love." I kissed his cheek and he smiled.
"Same to you." I chugged down a little of the Patron before giving it to him. He drank some before giving it back. We repeated this until it was gone.
