I held Javen's hand as I sat in a chair beside her hospital bed. We were back in LA thankfully, they were able to successfully transfer her here and now she was resting.

She wasn't dead, but damn sure didn't have up to a year to live. The most they give her now is a few days. This shit is really eating her up. It's spreading faster than they had expected which is why they gave us an estimate to a year last time.

"Mamas........"

"Hmm." Thank God it was quiet as shit in this room or else I wouldn't have heard anything. She was that weak.

"You feeling ok?"

"No....I'm so tired." A tear rolled down her face but her eyes remained closed.

"Just take it as far as you can ok." She nodded.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I kissed her hand.

"Come here." I looked up at her.

"Please?" I got up moving her over just a little so I could lay down. She used all her strength to push herself to sit up. I rested my head on her chest.

"Kentrell when I do pass can you make sure everybody is on good terms? Make sure my kids grow up to be better than us? Protect them as much as you can? Oh and tell everybody I love them. A lot and the pain will ease up."

"I got you, but I got a question."

"Why you ain't tell me anything Jay? You could've stayed in the hospital, they could've tried to help you. Why not say any-"

"Kentrell theirs no cure or treatment that will make this go away. What would they have done for me? Decreased my days of living? Their would have been no point, there is no point of me being here now

"I'm just trying to help Javen. I don't want you to die, there honestly has to be something they can do."

"There isn't, or else they've would've been helped me. I'm dying Kentrell, just face the fact." I looked up at her.

"How am I suppose to face the fact you're dying Javen? I mean it's you that's dying now, not anybody else. Just you and you want me to face the fact? You must not know who you are to me." I laughed.

"Kentrell I didn't mean it like that. I just want you to realize that this is real and there's nothing to help it. Not saying get over it or deal with it, just realize that this is actually happening."

I wrapped my arms around her waist burying my face in her chest.

"I wish I had to power to just take it all away." She held me close.

"Me too, but this is life. Nobody's life on earth is promised, sad to think but it's the truth." I looked at her and she looked at me. Tears were running down her face but she held a smile.
