After eventually leaving Aston and the girls I drove myself to work, parking up in my designated space with my name on the sign. As I entered the building I noticed that there was no one at the reception desk, which meant no Michele. Thankfully.

"Hey Maria." I smiled as I walked into the lift.

"Hey you're back," Maria smiled as she pulled me into a hug. "You weren't gone long."

"Long enough, I'm liking these late starts though." I smiled as we both got out of the lift as it stopped on our floor.

"How long are you doing that for anyway?"

"Only for a few weeks so I can get into the swing of things again." I said as we both walked down the corridor.

"I'm sure you'll get back to it in no time." Maria smiled as we stopped outside my office.

"Hopefully, so no Michele today then?" I asked, putting my files down on my desk.

"Oh no she's in, she just popped out for lunch about ten minutes ago."

"Great." I muttered under my breath as I logged into my computer.

"I heard about what happened-"

"How did you hear about it?" I asked, lifting my head up as Maria came in and closed the door behind her.

"Michele told us on a coffee break. I'm so sorry."

"Sorry about what?" I frowned, drawing my eyes away from my computer screen.

"Aston che-"

"That is not what happened!" I said incredulously, slamming my pen down.

"He didn't make a move on her?" Maria frowned as I stood up from my chair.

"No! She made a move on him! Whilst holding Sophia!"

"Seriously?" Maria asked as I nodded my head. "Talk about desperate."

"Tell me about it..So everyone in the building thinks that my husband's a cheater?" I asked as Maria shrugged her shoulders.

"Probably, yeah."

"Right," I sighed, sitting down at my desk. "He didn't cheat, just make sure you know that."

Me and Maria spoke for a little while longer before she had to leave to go to her office whilst I caught up on some of my work. I was absolutely raging. How dare she tell the whole building that my husband was a cheater when she was the one making a move on him?

It was so difficult to put that thought to the back of my head but I couldn't let a silly, immature, little girl like that ruin my job that I've worked hard on for years. But after half an hour I had to go and get myself a coffee to calm myself down. I saved my work and left my office to make my way down to the coffee machine.

"Oh you're back." I heard Michele say from behind me as I filled my cup up with coffee.

"Yeah, surprise." I smirked, turning round as I stirred my drink.

"No Aston with you today then?"

"Why? Fancy trying to make a move on him again?"

"He tried it on with me babe, don't make me out to be the bad guy." Michele scoffed before leaving the room.

"Don't you dare make Aston out to be the bad guy in this!" I said as I followed her out as she headed towards the stairs back down to reception. "Why would he even attempt anything while you both had one of our new born daughters in your arms?"

"Go and ask him! He tried to kiss me!"

"Did he fuck! We're married Michele!"

"Being married doesn't stop anyone." She shrugged, taking a sip of her coffee.

"It stops Aston, he wouldn't go near you with a ten foot barge pole."

"Then why didn't he push me away?" She smirked, not realising what she said.

"So you made the first move then?" I laughed as her face dropped. "And the reason why he didn't push you away was because you had Sophia and he had Ava, if he tried to push you away he could've hurt them and he wasn't going to do that. So do me a favour and stop telling everyone my husband's a cheater and try telling them exactly how desperate you are!"

"Babes I'm not the desperate one, look who he settled for." Michele scoffed as I shook it off.

"And you've got no one, its a shame."

"Not for long, I'll have Aston," She said as I laughed at her, as if! "And you're kids too."

"You stay away from my family, you slapper!"

The next thing I knew I'd been slapped across the face, like I said to Aston, I wasn't going to start anything but she started it so I was going to let her have it. I let out all of my frustration in one swing and punched her in the face. We started fighting right there in the corridor, she was being pretty girly by pulling my hair and whatnot. But she gave me an almighty shove and my heel of my shoe got stuck in the gap of the flooring and the next thing I knew my body was flying down the set of stairs.
