Me and Aston sat down by the sea talking for quite some time as we realised that the tide was staring to come in. We stood up and brushed the sand off ourselves before picking up our things, heading further up the beach to slip our shoes back on.

"I better get back to my girls." I said, draining the rest of my cocktail.

"I'll walk you back up, how about I get you another drink?" Aston asked stupidly, obviously he'd have to walk me back up because we were both going to the same place.

"It's an open bar?" I frowned as he rolled his eyes.

"Well I'll order you a drink then, how about that?"

After a few minutes of teasing, we headed back up to the party and straight over to the bar.

"You want the same?" Aston asked as I agreed.

He caught the Barman's attention and ordered us both a drink as I scanned the party for the girls, none of them to be seen. I got my phone out of the pocket of my shorts and rang all of the girls, none of them picking up. I went to text them on the group chat but saw a new message from Scarlett,

[Didnt know where you went, gone back to the villa with the boys, see you whenever x]

What the fuck? How could they just abandon me? They left me for some guys, they left me on a girls holiday.

"Here you go, you going back to your girls now?" Aston asked, coming over to where I was stood to pass me my cocktail.

"I er, I don't think-"

"Lucy, you okay?" He asked, placing his hand on my arm gently, looking me in the eyes.

"I'll just have this drink and go, they've gone back to our villa." I sighed, forcing out a weak smile.

"They've left you? Babe-"

"It's fine, it's not the first time. Your friends are probably waiting for you, I'll see you around." I smiled, dropping his hand from my arm and making my way back over to the bar to find a seat.

"I'm not leaving you by yourself, why don't you come over to my boys and hang with us for a bit?" Aston asked, approaching me at the bar.

"Nah it's alright, I don't want to ruin a lads holiday." I giggled, taking a sip of my drink.

"Well if you aren't coming with us, I'm staying with you." Aston said definitely, grabbing the seat next to me and sitting down.

"What? Aston you can't-"

"I can and I am, I'm not letting a beautiful girl sit around on her own when god knows what could happen to her."

"Thanks." I smiled, dipping my head slightly as I blushed.

"We'll have more fun anyway." Aston winked before bringing his drink up to his lips.
