The Holiday That Changed My Life

Part One Hundred and Twenty Eight

Today was Saturday, and after the whole baby drama that's been going on this week and with Aston being in work, we decided against going out tonight. We just wanted to stay in and not have to bother with anyone else.

"Salt and vinegar okay for you babe?!" Aston called through from the kitchen as I was sat in the living room.

"Didn't you get Doritos from the shop earlier?" I asked, flicking through the channels.

"Oh yeah!" I rolled my eyes, finally picking something to watch, the old classic; Friends.

"Friends again, really babe?" Aston moaned, sitting himself down next to me, offering me a crisp.

"You love it just as much as me," I giggled, taking a few crisps before turning my head back to the TV to see two glasses on the coffee table, one full of orange juice and one full of coke.

"What's up with you not drinking? You always have a drink on a Saturday." I frowned, picking up my orange juice to have a sip.

"I don't want anything to ruin our chances." Aston shrugged, not needing to say anything else as I obviously knew what he meant.

I smiled as I placed my glass back on the table before sitting up straight. I rested my hand on the side of Astons face gently, as his eyes followed my every move.

"I love you." I whispered, before edging forwards and softly pressing my lips against his.

"I love you too," Aston said quietly, kissing me again. "So much."

We both smiled at each other before I slouched down and rested my head against Astons arm, continuing to watch Friends in a nice silence.

"It's me and you yeah?" Aston said suddenly, taking my hand in his, linking our fingers together.

"Yeah." I smiled, squeezing his hand gently as my phone rang.

I sighed before picking it up off the coffee table, seeing that it was Aimee calling I sat back into my previous position as I answered the call.

Me - Hey Aims, what's up?

Aimee - We're having a last minute dinner at Wagamama, you in?

M - I don't know babe, me and Ast were just going to stay in.

A - Please Luce, we need all of you there.

M - Is it majorly important? Because we really don't feel up to it tonight.

A - Yeah! Everyone else is coming, please Luce?

M - Alright fine, what time?

A - Nine, so you're coming?

M - Sure, we'll be there.

A - Thanks babes, see you later!

M - See you there.

"I thought we were staying in?" Aston asked with a frown as I tossed my phone to the side.

"Change of plan, Aimee and JJ want us at Wagamama at nine." I sighed as I switched the tv off before we had to head upstairs and change.
