Once everyone had finished eating, I helped Astons mum to clear all the plates away and clean the table as everyone flittered off into the living room again with a refilled drink.
"Thanks for your help love, you didn't need to that." Siobhan smiled, finally unknotting her apron from around her waist.
"It's the least I could do, the meal was lovely." I smiled, wiping my hands on the kitchen towel.
"You're welcome darling. So how are things going with you and my son?" She asked, leaning against the kitchen counter as I did the same opposite her.
"So far so good, he's so sweet." I smiled as Siobhan smiled too.
"I raised him right that's why, it's not off his own back," She joked. "But he seems happy with you so that's all that matters."
"I'm happy with him too." I giggled with her as Aston came into the kitchen.
Astons P.O.V.
So far this afternoon's been a success. Everyone seems to like Luce and get on with her really well. And that's all I could ask for.
After we'd eaten, Lucy stayed behind in the kitchen to help my mum out which I thought was very sweet that she was making such an effort. I took the chance to speak to my family without Luce in earshot. And to no surprise, everyone loves her. They love how friendly and genuine she is, that she can get on with everyone and doesn't just talk about herself; she asks questions about other people. And I couldn't be happier that my family love my girlfriend.
But my heart absolutely soared when I walked into the kitchen and saw Lucy giggling away with my mum. If there was anything that I wanted out of today, this was it; my mum and my girlfriend getting along.
"Hey, what are you two giggling about?" I asked as I stood next to Luce, wrapping my arm around her back and looking down at her.
"Nothing." Luce giggled as my mum smiled back at us.
"Alright, listen mum, I was going to take Luce upstairs and show her around, is that cool?" I asked as my mum nodded her head and I took Lucy's hand.
"Yeah you go ahead, I'll keep everyone down here." Mum smiled before I took Lucy out of the kitchen and headed upstairs.
"Why are you taking me upstairs?" Luce laughed as I led her up the stairs.
"I just wanted to show you where I grew up." I shrugged as I walked us down the hallway and pushed my way into my old bedroom at the end.
"Wow, so this is how teenage Aston used to live." She teased as she walked ahead of me and looked at the many band awards that mum had my dad put up on the shelves.
"Yeah I guess so." I chuckled sitting down on the edge of my old bed as Luce read each award and looked at old pictures on my old dressers.
"Aw, you used to be well cute when you were little babe!" She laughed, picking up a photo frame and showing it to me.
"So I'm not now?"
"You've developed." She smirked as she looked back at me over her shoulder and dropped me a cheeky wink.
If I wasn't falling for this girl before, then I definitely am now. Just everything about her I love, like how she gets a little wrinkle in the corner of her eyes when she's tired or how her eyes sparkle when she looks at me, even when she's asleep next to me and she looks so peaceful, I could just sit there and watch her for hours.
"So, do you like it?" I asked as she perched herself onto my lap and I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"It's pretty cool," She shrugged, looking at the posters behind me. "Although I could've done without seeing those magazines on your shelf," She giggled as I blushed slightly.
"I never knew you had so many awards." She said as she hung her arms around my neck.
"I give most of them to mum to put up in here, I keep the more important ones at my house."
"I love all your little teddies at the end of your bed though." She giggled as I took a quick glance.
"Some of them are like twenty years old, I told mum to put them in the loft." I chuckled as Luce picked up a little tatty thing from the front of the pile.
"Well I love it..Thanks for showing me all this." She smiled as she rested the teddy on her lap before hanging her arms back around my neck.
"No problem gorgeous," I smiled before Luce leant down and softly pressed her lips against mine. "Thanks for coming with me today."
"Did I pass?" She asked as she sexily bit down on her bottom lip.
"By a million miles, everybody loves you." I grinned as I could feel Luce relax in my arms.
"Thank god!" She sighed with relief as I pressed a kiss against her shoulder.
"All that's left now is our families meeting each other and telling the fans, then I can finally take you out."
"I dunno, I quite like our little home-dates." Luce smiled cutely at me as her fingers grazed the back of my neck softly, sending shivers down my spine.
"Me too, but I want to be able to show you off."
