Christmas was amazing, as usual, especially Christmas dinner which was outstanding. I swear I gained about four stone. After dinner we all just chilled out and shared our favourite Christmas memories. Me and Aston stuck around until eleven o'clock before we went home and celebrated Christmas in our own special way.
Then we had Boxing Day, which is a shit day for all women. I knew I'd get ignored for the whole day seeing as Aston had invited most of his friends and his brother around to our house to watch all the football that they possibly could. So I went back to my old apartment and spent the day with the girls. We all passed around Christmas presents as we didn't see each other on the actual day, and then they basically planned my wedding, they were so excited! But they were all a bit gutted that neither of them were my maid of honour because I had to give it to my sister obviously, seeing as I was hers.
New Year's Eve soon arrived and me and Aston were upstairs in our bedroom getting ready for the night ahead. Astons band mates had organised a VIP party in one of their favourite nightclubs in central London.
"Ast I need your help!" I called out to him as I was flicking through the racks on my side of the wardrobe.
"With what?!" He shouted back from the bedroom where he was lying on our bed.
"I can't decide on an outfit."
"Well what's it out of?" He asked as he made his way into the wardrobe.
"Erm, this dress and that jumpsuit." I said, pointing at both of the outfits.
"Now your boobs would look great in the dress but you have to pick the jumpsuit." Aston smirked as I smacked his arm.
"Behave, why the jumpsuit then?" I frowned, hanging the dress back up and pulling the jumpsuit out.
"Because it shows off your nice arse."
"You're such a perv!" I laughed as he spun me around and pressed me up against the corner wall of the wardrobe.
"Well you're my girlfriend-"
"Fiancé." I corrected him as he smiled whilst linking our fingers together above my head.
"Fiancé, so I can perv as much as I like."
"I don't think that's a rule."
"It is in my book," He winked before pressing his lips against mine. "Now go get ready, we're leaving in an hour."
"You're not even dressed yet!"
"I've only got to chuck on some jeans and a shirt babe, I'll be done in ten minutes." He shrugged, walking back into the bedroom.
"Arsehole." I muttered as I picked out my shoes.
"What was that babe?"
"Nothing, love you!" I called back before giggling to myself, picking out my clutch and leaving them all together.
I left my outfit in the wardrobe and headed back to the bedroom to do my hair, but Aston was nowhere in sight so he was either in the shower or downstairs.
"I'm an arsehole am I?" Aston asked out of nowhere, tackling me onto the bed as I almost screamed my head off.
"You are now!" I shouted, punching his shoulder. "What'd you do that for?!"
"You called me an arsehole." He chuckled as I tried to control my heart rate.
"Well you are, you can just chuck on an outfit so easily." I sighed as Aston leaned up on his elbow, draping his other arm across my stomach.
"Come on, you look great in anything."
"So I can wear the black dress?" I asked as Aston moaned. "What?"
"I really like that jumpsuit though."
"If I wear the jumpsuit will you promise to be nice to me tonight?"
"I'm always nice to you." He tutted, running his hand along my stomach.
"You know there's nothing in there, don't you?" I giggled as Aston frowned so I glanced down at my stomach.
"Oh," He said quietly as he realised what he was doing. "You don't know that, we've only got to wait another week to take a test."
"I know, I just don't want you to get your hopes up."
"It's gonna happen, we'll be fine." He grinned before lowering his head to kiss me passionately.
We got up off the bed ten minutes later and made a start on getting ready, annoying me how it only took Aston fifteen minutes to get dressed. After locking up the house and getting into the taxi, we finally headed to the club.
"Ah shit!" I hissed as I saw a text from Scarlett.
"What?" Aston asked, slipping his phone back into his pocket as we turned a corner.
"I left my jacket on the couch."
"Babe it's like minus ten degrees outside, how'd you forget your jacket?"
"I dunno, I think I was too busy trying to find my keys." I mumbled as the taxi driver pulled up outside the club.
"Here, let me get out and I'll give you mine."
"Ast the door's right there, I'll be fi-"
"You're having it," He cut me off before opening the door and jumping out of the taxi into a swarm of paps, shrugging off his jacket as I shuffled across the seat after paying the taxi driver. "Come on."
I climbed out of the taxi and Aston instantly put his leather jacket around my shoulders before taking my hand tightly and closing the taxi door behind me. He led me through the crowd to the door of the club before letting me go through first and leaving the paps behind us. Aston told me to leave his jacket on until we reached everyone else so I can leave it with everyone else's stuff.
"I'll get some drinks in shall I?" Aston asked, noticing that some of the drinks were almost empty. "Do you want anything?" He asked me as he took his jacket off my shoulders.
"Nothing alcoholic." I said quietly as he nodded, kissing my cheek before making his way to the bar.
"I still can't believe you're engaged!" Rochelle grinned as I took a seat next to her.
"Really?" I laughed, bringing my hair over to one side.
"Yeah! I never thought I'd see the day when Ast settled down."
"We never thought Luce was gonna settle down either." Aimee butted in as JJ slung his arm over her shoulders.
"Hey!" I frowned, as Scarlett and Nicole laughed along.
"Well after Andy can you blame us?"
"No but-"
"Who's Andy?" Rochelle asked, feeling out of the loop as Aston and Marvin came back with drinks for everyone.
"Her dick of an ex boyfriend." Aston answered before I could get a word in.
"You've met?"
"Once, and I hope for his sake I never see him again." He said, taking a sip of his drink after passing me mine.
"What happened?" Rochelle asked as I sighed.
"Can we not do this tonight? I don't want a miserable night." I asked as Aston wrapped his arm around my shoulder before kissing the side of my head.
"Sure, anyone up for a dance?" Scarlett asked, winking at me as lots of us got up and the conversation was dropped.
And it's a good job it was. There was no way I was telling them about Lilly.
