"I can't believe you're going to Paris!" Aimee gasped as she sat on my bed whilst I was packing.
I'd invited the girls around almost two weeks later while Aston was at work. I told the girls that I was going to Paris on business, not for my fashion show. I was gonna surprise everyone when I came home or when they saw it on the news or something. Plus I liked that it was just Ast who knew, like it was our little secret.
The last week and a half has been pretty tough. Me and Aston have both been working but when we were at home, you'd need a crowbar to get between us. We both didn't want me to go to Paris alone and we both didn't want to come terms with it either as Aston was still trying to find out if there was any way at all that he could come with me. But it was pretty obvious he wasn't going to find one.
"What are you talking about? I've been to Paris before." I laughed, folding a few tops.
"Yeah but with Ast on holiday, this is business."
"How's Ast taking it anyway?" Nicole asked, flicking through one of my old magazines.
"He's..okay, I guess." I hesitated, putting the last top into my case.
"'I guess'?" She asked as I shrugged my shoulders.
"He's just gutted that he can't come with me that's all."
"Are you two okay now then after the whole Adrianne thing?" Scarlett asked as I brought a few pairs of shoes into the bedroom.
"Yeah we're fine. It was just a kiss." I shrugged, not wanting to talk about it.
"He still cheated on you though babe." Aimee pointed out.
"Yeah but didn't you hear what he did for her? It was dead sweet. I'd forgive him for killing someone if he did that for me." Nicole argued as I laughed at her, still packing my shoes.
"Bit extreme Nic," I giggled as she shrugged at me and laughed too. "But it was sweet."
"Sweet? It was fricken adorable!"
"He's so perfect for you Luce." Aimee smiled as the girls agreed.
"I'd like to think so." I giggled, catching sight of a picture of the two of us on my bedside table.
"He definitely is! I've never seen a guy more in love, not even JJ, no matter how much he says it." Aimee laughed as did the others while I put the picture in my suitcase.
"So, you two are pretty serious now huh?" I asked, closing my suitcase and sitting on my bed amongst the girls.
"Yeah I guess, I mean, he's given me a drawer at his place and we've got sides of the bed but that's it." Aimee giggled.
"So you're not ready to move in yet?"
"I don't think so, I mean I love him sure, but I don't think we're there yet. We've not been together as long as you and Ast."
"Only by a few months babe, me and Ast moved in just after a year." I shrugged.
"I guess." Aimee shrugged as we moved on to talk about something else.
We stayed chatting about all of our jobs and any gossip that we all knew about before I left my suitcases upstairs and we moved to the living room after I'd made dinner for everyone. I'd made Aston some too but just left it in the microwave so that he can have it when he comes home.
