I went into the en suite pretty quickly and hopped straight into the shower, washing my body thoroughly but deciding against washing my hair as I'd already washed it the previous night. I turned the shower off and got out, drying my body completely and throwing Ast's top over me before getting my make up out of the bag, setting it on the counter.

"Luce? Babe are you okay in there? You've been a while." Aston asked along with a few taps on the door.

"Yeah I'm fine, I'll be out in a second." I called back, putting some foundation onto a sponge.

"Can I come in?"

"No!" I panicked, trying to put the foundation on as quick as I could. "Just give me five-"

"Why are you putting make up on?" He asked as he barged into the bathroom while I mentally scolded myself for not locking it in the first place.

"I er, I just feel rough that's all." I lied, continuing to apply the make up as I managed to keep my hand in the way of my eye.

"Oh stop it, you know I think you're gorgeous anyway," He tutted as he pulled my hand away from my face and put the sponge onto the counter. "What's that?"

"What's what?" I laughed nervously, putting my make up back into my bag.

"Your eye! What happened?" He asked as I zipped up the bag.

"What do you mean what happened?" I asked, heading back into the bedroom with Aston hot on my heels. "I was in a car crash remember?"

"Vividly, but you never had those marks when I left."

"Maybe you've just forgot." I laughed, tapping his cheek gently before sitting on the edge of the bed to take the cover off my cast.

"That's just stupid. Babe why are you lying to me?" He sighed as he leaned back against the wall. "Just tell me what happened."

"You'll flip out." I mumbled, throwing my cover to the floor.

"I'm not gonna flip out, I just wanna know what happened to you, that's all."

"Fine...I went into work last Sunday to get a few ideas down because I've been absolutely bored out of my mind. The whole place was silent but when I got to my floor there were noises coming from my office. So I went in and there was paper thrown all over the floor, ripped to shreds, my outfit for the fashion show was torn and ruined and there was some guy dressed in black who'd obviously done it all. I tried to grab his arm when he tried to leave but he turned around and punched me in the face..There, is that what you wanted to hear?"

"Luce, why didn't you tell me?" Aston asked before sitting next to me.

"I didn't want you to worry, it wasn't anything serious." I shrugged as he took my left hand in his own.

"Nothing serious? Someone's trashed your office and hit you, course it's something serious..You didn't see his face?"

"No." I replied as I looked down at both of our hands entwined together.

"Yes you did! Luce why do you keep lying to me?"

"I just don't want you to hit anyone."

"I'm not going to hit anyone," He chuckled before bringing his other hand up to rest on my cheek. "Babe who hit you?"

"Andy." I muttered as Aston laughed at me, prompting me to frown at him.

"No seriously, who was it?"

"I am being serious, Andy was the one who hit me."

"Andy? Andy your ex boyfriend, that Andy?" He asked as his face turned more stern and annoyed.

"Who else?"

"If I see him I'll-"

"You won't do anything." I told him as I squeezed his hand to prompt him to look at me.

"Luce I can't just sit back and do nothing. Your ex boyfriend's hit you for crying out loud."

"I know, but the last thing I need right now is you getting hurt."

"What makes you think I'll get hurt? I'll swing for the-"

"Ast-"

"I'll kill him! He hurt you, for no fucking reaso-"

"Can you just stop?" I sighed, releasing his hand as I stood up.

"Babe I-"

"No Ast, no buts. Just please, please leave it? If you hit him it'll be in the papers, and then you'll be at the fashion show and it'll be all about the fight and I don't want you to get any bad press."

"You really don't want me to do anything?" Aston asked as he stood up with a defeated look on his face.

"No, I don't want any fuss, not now."

"Alright." He sighed after a moment of thinking with his hands behind his head.

"What?"

"Alright, I won't do anything."

"You'll drop it?" I asked as he came to stand in front of me.

"I'll drop it." He replied as I wrapped my good arm around his waist.

"Thank you." I muttered as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head.

"If it wasn't your fashion show then I'd be out there looking for him right now."

"I know." I giggled, my heart melting slightly as it sunk in that Aston didn't want anything to jeopardise my career.
