Astons P.O.V.

After trying to conceive for about a year, me and Luce decided that it was probably best to go to the doctors and do a fertility test. At first, Luce point blank refused to go, saying that nothing was wrong and we just had to keep trying. Luce had her reasons for not wanting to go, she didn't want to be told that she couldn't have kids, but neither did I, that's the last thing I want. It took quite a few conversations and arguments to convince her to go, just so that we know what's going on, but I managed it. We did the tests a few weeks ago and we're going back to the doctors tomorrow morning to get the results.

"Baby, stop worrying." I mumbled as Luce rolled over for about the fiftieth time tonight.

"I'm not-You're not even awake." Luce sighed, shifting about again.

"I don't need to be, you've been tossing and turning all night," I said, opening my eyes and rolling onto my side. "Stop worrying about these results, everything's going to be fine."

"But what if it's not?" She asked as she lay flat on her back, staring up at the ceiling. "What if there's something wrong?"

"If there is, then we'll figure it out when we get to it," I sighed, leaning up on my elbow. "But right now, as far as we know, there's nothing wrong with either of us, so there's no need to worry."

"Aren't you scared?" Luce asked with a whisper.

"Babe I'm terrified," I admitted as I ran my hand over her hair gently. "Our future's riding on that piece of paper."

"What's gonna happen to us if we don't get the results we want?"

"Wh-Nothing's gonna happen to us," I frowned. "And there's not going to be anything wrong with either of us."

"But what if-"

"Touch wood if something was to be wrong then it wouldn't change anything. I'll still love you all the same and we'll figure something out so that we'll be able to have kids one day."

"You know I'm going to be a nervous wreck tomorrow don't you?"

"Course I know that." I chuckled lightly as she looked up at me, her eyes twinkling in the pitch black.

"And you know I love you."

"I know that too," I smiled before gently kissing her forehead. "I love you more."

"We're going to be okay, aren't we?" Luce asked as I wrapped my arms around her tight.

"Yeah, course we are. We're still gonna get married in a few weeks, nothing's gonna change that."

"Then you'll be stuck with me." She giggled adorably.

"I wouldn't want it any other way."
