Part One Hundred and Sixty Seven

"What the hell are you doing?!" I asked, closing the door and dropping Sophia's things on the floor.

"Luce it's not what it looks like." Aston said immediately as Michele stepped away.

"Really? Because it looks like if I came in ten seconds later you would've been all over each other!" I said as I stormed over and took Sophia out of Michele's arms.

"Luce come on-"

"Save it!" I sighed. "You were trying it on with my husband while you were holding our daughter! And you're a married man, for God sake!"

"Babe that's not what happened-"

"Don't talk to me, just put Ava in her seat and let's go." I sighed as I strapped Sophia into her seat before taking her back downstairs, leaving the reception and standing outside the car whilst I waited for Aston to come down too.

"Luce will you just listen to me?" Aston asked after he'd come out of the building, strapped Ava into the car and got into the drivers seat as we drove to his work.

"What's wrong with you? It's bad enough that you did it in my office but you did it holding the girls."

"Babe nothing happened! Why don't you believe me?" He asked as we pulled up at a set of traffic lights.

"Well you've got previous." I shrugged, putting Ava's dummy back in her mouth as I sat in the back with her.

"Don't throw that back in my face, that was over two years ago."

"It still happened."

"Look she got Soph's cardigan out of Ava's bag, she started flirting with me and I tried to push her away but I couldn't do much more than that because I had Ava and she had Soph, if I pushed her away harder I might've hurt Soph. That's when you came in."

"Are you sure that's what happened or are you just using the girls as a cover up?" I asked as we turned down the street where the studio was.

"Let's just take the girls to see everyone." He sighed as he parked up before getting out of the car and slamming the door behind him. Oops, must've hit the nail on the head there.

We both took the girls into the studio where we were greeted with all of Astons band mates and surprisingly their girlfriends too. We placed the girls' car seats on one of the tables whilst everyone fawned over them, I say everyone I mean their girlfriends.

"Guys can you just watch over the girls for us? We'll be right back, everything you need for them is in the bags." Aston said loudly as they all nodded back, the girls being too distracted by the twins.

"Sure, why?" Marvin asked with a frown before Aston took my hand.

"Just need to talk with Luce a minute." He said before pulling me out of the room and taking me down the hall into a room that wasn't being used.

"You were completely out of order in the car." Aston frowned furiously as he closed the door behind me.

"Really? I think I hit the jackpot."

"No, you didn't. How dare you think I'd use our children to cover anything up! I'd never use those two for anything! And as for the cheating thing, I can't believe you think I'd do that to you again. You knew how scared I was about losing you, so why do you think I'd cheat again?"

"Because I've not been able to shake my baby weight!" I blurted out in frustration.

"What?" He frowned, dropping his hands from his face. "Babe what's going on?"

"I dunno, maybe you just wanted to sleep with someone with a better figure than me."

"Luce you're joking right?" He laughed as I shook my head. "You're my wife."

"That's not important."

"It's so important. I married you because you're the most amazing, beautiful, kind, passionate, talented, sexy woman I've ever met in my life. If I've got you, why would I even want to go and look for someone else?"

"Because I've not had time to go to the gym and-"

"Do you actually think I care about that? You gave birth about what? Just over a week ago? You've not had the time to go to the gym, I've not had the time. We're parents with two newborn babies, we don't have the time for anything."

"Yeah but-"

"You wanna know what I said to my mum? I said that seeing you give birth to our children made me fall in love with you even more, sure it wasn't the prettiest sight," He started as I giggled. "But it was a beautiful moment and it's one that I'm never gonna forget."

"You said that?" I smiled as he nodded his head and took my hands in his.

"Yeah, so babe listen, nothing even happened with Michele because I have you and the girls and let's be honest you're a complete knockout," He smiled, squeezing my hand. "And you need to know that I don't give a shit about how much weight you put on or lose or anything like that. I love you. From your head down to your toes, I love every bone in your body. So don't ever doubt that or assume that I'm gonna cheat on you, because I have you, that's all I'll ever need."

"I'm sorry I thought you che-"

"Forget about it, water under the bridge." Aston shrugged as I shook my head.

"No, I need you to know that I do trust you its just that with my hormones and my doubts about myself everything's kind of-"

"I know, just don't worry about anything yeah? Right now I'm on a massive high with having the girls here and being married, I'm too focused on you three to even think about anything else."
