Once all of the seats were taken and we were positive no one else was due to arrive, me and Aston were able to take our seats ready for the meals to be brought out. The food was soon devoured and the time for the speeches soon arrived. Obviously my dad wasn't here, but he'd written his speech prior to his death and asked Mark to read it out, who was sitting at the top table next to my mum.

"Lucy, my little girl, look how grown up you are. I remember the day you were born clear as day, you gave us quite the fright when they told us you had the cord wrapped around your neck, and that's enough to scare any parent, which I'm sure you and Aston will find out at some point in your lives," Mark said into the microphone as I squeezed Astons hand that was hung over my shoulder whilst I'd twisted my chair around slightly so that I could lean back into his body and rest my head on his chest.

"I'm sure you'll all agree with me that Aston's a brilliant fella, and I'm glad that you two met because I couldn't think of anyone better for my little girl. Aston was a nervous wreck when he came to ask for our permission to marry Lucy, the big sigh of relief when we said yes proved it..If everyone would like to join me in raising their glasses," Mark breathed before everyone else in the room held up their glasses. "I think I can safely speak on behalf of everyone in this room when I wish you both all of the happiness and joy in the world. To Lucy and Aston!"

I quickly got up off my seat and gave Mark the biggest hug, tears falling down my face as he had the odd one or two. We held on to each other for another few minutes before we both took our seats and Aston stood up, to my surprise.

"I want to thank you all for coming today, me and Luce couldn't be any happier that you're all here. I'm not gonna go on and on like I did in the church," He chuckled as a few people scoffed before laughing. "But I just want to say thank you to everyone who made all of this possible, the caterers, the decorators, our parents, our friends and anyone I've missed out, we're so grateful and overwhelmed by everything that you've done for us. And then there's my brand new wife!" He smiled before taking my hand.

"That sounds so weird," He laughed. "We had a bit of a disaster this morning but I got you to the church eventually. When you walked through those doors I couldn't believe my eyes, I just kept thinking 'no way is this happening', you look absolutely stunning. I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with you, I love you so much." Aston smiled before cupping my face in his hands and pressing a gentle kiss against my lips whilst our guests applauded and aww'd.

About an hour and a half later all of the tables were cleared and our evening guests were also arriving. And before long it was time for me and Aston to have our first dance as man and wife.

Aimee's P.O.V.

The time for Ast and Lucy's first dance soon came around and the sound of Jason Mraz's I Won't Give Up flooded the room. Ast had his arms wrapped around Lucy's waist and she had her hands locked behind Ast's head. Luce had mentioned to us that they'd wanted to do a routine that Ast had taught her but I think they just scrapped that and stayed on the dance floor, swaying gently to the music.

"Will you look at them?" I said to JJ as he came back over to me from the bar.

"Can't help but." Jay smiled, wrapping one arm around my back.

"I've never seen Luce this happy." I smiled, resting my head back onto Jay's shoulder as I watched Ast say something to Luce that made her laugh and rest her forehead on his.

"That's because they were made for each other." Jay said just as Ast and Luce shared a kiss on the dance floor just as the song came to a close.
