I took a quick look through the window and the sight broke my heart. Luce was just lay there, lifeless, wires attached to her left, right and centre, her face full of cuts and bruises.

The doctor stopped me from going in just as he was leaving the room, wanting to tell me exactly what had happened to her and how she's going to be for the next few months. But once he was finished he let me go into Luce's room, telling me that time would tell when she would wake up. I took a seat on the chair next to Luce's bed, deciding to sit on the opposite side as her right arm was in a cast from where she'd broken her arm. As soon as I was seated I took her hand in mine before bringing it up to my lips and kissing the back of her hand gently, sitting there quietly as I waited for her to wake up.

The shooting pains in my right arm and left ankle slowly woke me up, the bright lights hurting my eyes as they opened. I lay there for a few minutes, trying to comprehend where I was but my questions were soon answered when I felt the warm sensation on my hand. I looked down and I spotted another hand in mine, the unmistakable tattoo on the hand confirming who exactly it was.

"Ast?" I croaked, trying to turn my head to face him. "Ow!"

"Try not to turn your head babe, the doctor said you've got a bit of whiplash so your neck'll be hurting for a little while." Aston told me as he ran his thumb over my hand.

"Great," I sighed, looking back up to the ceiling. "What else happened to me?"

"You know you were in a car crash?"

"Yeah, I've not got amnesia." I tutted.

"Well your arm's broken, both bones, you've sprained your left ankle, you've bruised your ribs a little and like I said you've got a little bit of whiplash."

"Wow, looks like I got lucky." I scoffed, squirming around a bit to try and get comfortable.

"It could be worse babe."

"I guess," I sighed. "Ast, can you just stand in front of me for a minute?"

"Sure babes," He said as I heard him stand up from the plastic covered chair.

"Everything okay?" He asked as he leaned over so that his face was in front of mine, rubbing the top of my hand with his thumb gently.

"Yeah," I smiled slightly as I bit my lip.

"I thought I was imagining it for a minute..I thought I'd died Ast." I told him as my voice wavered and the odd tear fell down my face.

"But you didn't okay? You didn't," He smiled, bringing his hand up to rest on my cheek. "You didn't. You're alive and you're here. Sure you might be a little broken but you'll be fixed soon enough."

"I was coming to see you," I cried as Aston closed his eyes. "I was coming to apologise for being such a bitch to you."

"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry," He croaked as he opening his eyes. "If I hadn't have sent you that text then-"

"This wasn't your fault!" I said as I squeezed his other hand as best as I could.

"But none of this would've happened if I would've just picked up the phone! I put you in hospital."

"I'm pretty sure the delivery man did." I laughed slightly, tasting the saltiness from my tears as they fell onto my lips.

"You have no idea how much I love you." Aston chuckled, wiping his eyes quickly.

"I love you too." I smiled before his lips were on mine in a flash.

"I hate to do this babe but I'm gonna have to sit down or I'm gonna get a bad neck too." He laughed, squeezing my hand before sitting back down, disappearing out of my sight.

"Do you know how long I'm going to be in this thing for?" I asked with a sigh, lifting up my right arm.

"The doctor said it'll be around 8 to 9 weeks, sorry Luce."

"What about the fashion show?! I can't pass that up!" I said suddenly as I tried to sit up.

"Woah, calm down yeah?" Aston said as he squeezed my hand gently. "We'll sort out your fashion show, just don't worry about that right now, worry about you getting better."

"Sorry," I heard the doctor say along with a door closing. "I just came by to tell Lucy what's going to happen."

"Yeah, sure." Aston muttered, rubbing the top of my hand with his thumb.

"I've got one question before you say anything," I said as the doctor nodded along in agreement. "When can I move my neck again?"

"I'll be giving you some medication shortly to ease the pain, but it should be gone in a few hours," He chuckled.

"Now, since you're going to be in this cast for the next 8 to 9 weeks you're going to find daily tasks like bathing and dressing yourself will be a bit of a struggle, not to mention that you'll have to keep all weight off your ankle for the next month. So, do you have a roommate at home to help you around?"

"No." I sighed, hating the thought of not being able to anything by myself.

"She can stay with me." Aston piped up, gently squeezing my hand.

The doctor took all of Astons details so that the hospital knew where I was staying or something and gave him all of the information he needed to know about taking care of me, meaning that he'd have to take a few weeks off work.

"Ast you can't put your job on hold for this!"

"I can and I will."

"No you seriously can't, you've got your summer tour coming up and you can't miss it. Your fans are coming to see all four of you, you're going!"

"I'm taking care of you and that's that."

"You're going on tour! I can just go stay with the girls for a few weeks."

"But-"

"You're going!"
